History

The channel launched on 10 July 2023. [1] The channel started its test transmission on 28 April 2023. The channel's initial outreach was marked by an official sound track (OST) titled "Kyunke main Green hoon (Because I am Green)", featuring multiple musicians including Abida Parveen, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali, among others. [1] The upbeat, patriotic song was chosen to instill a sense of national pride in Pakistanis. [1]

Subsequently, the channel's YouTube platform began releasing short films tackling diverse themes such as classism, corruption, gender equality, morality, and societal norms. [1] Another video, "Farq Toh Parta Hai", employed the creative device of children impersonating adults to critique certain societal hypocrisies. [1]
