Greg Carr (born October 8, 1985) is a former professional arena football wide receiver. After playing college football at Florida State, Carr was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2009. Carr has also been a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Edmonton Eskimos, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Calgary Stampeders, Orlando Predators, and Washington Valor. In June 2020, Carr was hired as the Head Football Coach at North Marion High School in Citra, FL. [1]
Carr played high school football at North Marion High School in Citra, Florida. He earned first-team all-state honors in Class 3A as a junior and senior. He was also a star basketball player, earning first-team honors during his senior year.
During Carr's freshman year he led all Florida State receivers in yards per reception with 20.6 and receiving touchdowns with nine. He also tied former Virginia Cavaliers and current Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller's ACC record for receiving touchdowns by a freshman. His great season earned him second-team All-ACC and third-team freshman All-American. During his sophomore year, he made 34 receptions for 619 yards and 12 touchdowns, helping him earn a second-team All-ACC selection. During his junior campaign he made 45 receptions for 795 and four touchdowns. As a senior Carr made 39 receptions for 542 yards and four touchdowns.
Carr finished his career at Florida State ranking fifth in the school's history in career receptions and receiving yards with 148 receptions for 2,574 yards, and second in touchdowns with 29.
He was not drafted in the 2009 NFL draft and signed with the San Diego Chargers after the draft. The Chargers waived Carr on August 31.
Greg Carr was added to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Practice Roster September 1, 2010. He was activated for the game against the Montreal Alouettes on September 25. His first catch in the CFL was a 74-yard touchdown, his second catch was a 71-yard touchdown. Carr left the game in the third quarter with a leg injury but had caught 4 passes for 185 yards and 2 touchdowns.
After becoming a free agent, Carr signed with the Edmonton Eskimos on February 16, 2012. [2]
On September 5, 2012, Carr was traded along with a fifth round draft pick in the 2013 CFL Draft to the Saskatchewan Roughriders for the playing rights to Matthew O'Donnell and a fourth round draft pick in the 2013 CFL Draft. [3] Carr had 2 touchdown receptions in the Western Divisional Semi-Final against the Stampeders on November 11, 2012, including what looked like it would be the game-winner with only 53 seconds left. After playing in the 2013 CFL season opener, the Roughriders released Carr. [4]
Carr was signed by the Stampeders on July 8, 2013, [5] but after playing in only four games, he was released on September 9, 2013. [6]
On October 14, 2016, Carr was assigned to the Washington Valor during the dispersal draft. [7]
On March 21, 2018, Carr was assigned to the Albany Empire. [8]
Jason Armstead is a former professional Canadian football and American football kick returner and wide receiver. Armstead is currently a free-agent. He was most recently a member of the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League. He was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2003. He played college football for Mississippi. He dated Flight Attendant Juline Haughton from 2009 - 2010.
David Mark Archer is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback for six seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Iowa State Cyclones. Undrafted in the 1984 NFL draft, he played in the NFL from 1984 to 1989 for the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, San Diego Chargers, and Philadelphia Eagles.
Andrew Fantuz is a former professional Canadian football wide receiver. Fantuz spent the majority of his professional career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for the Riders for six seasons after he was drafted by them in the first round of the 2006 CFL Draft. He then played six seasons for the Tiger-Cats. Fantuz was also signed by the Chicago Bears in 2011. He played CIS football for the Western Ontario Mustangs.
Jeffrey Alan Fuller, Jr. is a former American football wide receiver. He was most recently a member of the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Texas A&M. He has also been a member of the Miami Dolphins and Seattle Seahawks in the NFL, and Calgary Stampeders and Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL. Fuller is currently CEO of a leading marketing firm, Fuller Marketing Corporation, out of Oklahoma City, OK.
Adarius Bowman is a former American professional gridiron football wide receiver in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders as an undrafted free agent in 2008. Bowman has also been a member Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Montreal Alouettes, and Edmonton Eskimos/Elks. He played college football at Oklahoma State. Bowman was a Grey Cup Champion and three time CFL All-Star having accumulated 652 receptions for 9,491 yards and 49 touchdowns in 141 career games.
Maurice Price is a former gridiron football wide receiver who played for the Calgary Stampeders and Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Charleston Southern.
Jacques Chapdelaine is a Canadian football coach and former professional slotback in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He most recently served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL. He has also served as the offensive coordinator for four other CFL teams, the head coach of the Montreal Alouettes (2016-17), and the head coach for two Canadian university football teams. Chris Getzlaf is a Canadian former professional football slotback who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 2007 to 2017. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2007 CFL Draft, 33rd overall, by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and was later traded that season to the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was also a member of the Edmonton Eskimos. Prior to turning pro, Getzlaf played with the junior team Prairie Thunder and the collegiate team Regina Rams in his hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan.
Prechae Rodriguez is a former American football wide receiver. He signed with Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League as an undrafted free agent in 2008. During his rookie 2008 season, Rodriguez accumulated 1099 yards in only 14 games, en route to being named the East Division Most Outstanding Rookie. He played college football for the Auburn Tigers.

He played college football as a wide receiver and return specialist for the Clemson Tigers at Clemson University, where he competed in sprinting events. During his stint in the NFL, Ford was widely regarded as one of the fastest players in the league. He has one of the top 100 meter times by NFL players.
Jerome Messam is a former professional Canadian football running back who played in nine seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for five teams. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the BC Lions. After being traded to the Edmonton Eskimos, he became the seventh Canadian running back since 1955 and the first since 2000 to rush for over 1,000 yards while also winning the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian Award. He won the award again in 2016 and was also the Grey Cup's Most Valuable Canadian in 2017. He is a two-time CFL All-Star and three-time CFL West All-Star. Messam played college football for Graceland University.
