Greg Gary (born February 14, 1970) is an American head college basketball coach, most recently for the Mercer Bears men's basketball team. He is the former head men's basketball coach at Centenary College of Louisiana. He replaced Rob Flaska. [1] He was born in Anderson, Indiana.

Gary graduated from Highland High School, Anderson, IN, in 1988 and went on to play college basketball at Tulane University from 1989 to 1992 after spending one year at Aquinas College. He helped lead Tulane to an NCAA Tournament appearance in 1992 and graduated as the school's all-time assist leader. [1]

In May 2011, Gary returned to Indiana as an assistant coach at Purdue University in West Lafayette. He was hired as the head basketball coach at Mercer University on March 26, 2019. [2]

Gary is married (Claudia Gary) and has four daughters (Gabrielle, Logan, Alex, Brooklyn) and a son, Nash.

Mike DeBord is an American football coach who was most recently the offensive coordinator at the University of Kansas. He was previously the offensive coordinator of the San Diego Fleet of the Alliance of American Football (AAF), and was the associate head coach and offensive coordinator at Indiana University prior to joining the AAF. DeBord was the head football coach at Central Michigan University from 2000 to 2003, compiling a record of 12–34. He worked as an assistant coach at the University of Michigan for a total of 11 seasons, from 1993 to 1999 and again from 2004 to 2007. The 2019–20 Purdue Boilermakers men's basketball team represented Purdue University in the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Matt Painter in his 15th season with the Boilers. The team played their home games at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Indiana as members of the Big Ten Conference. The Boilers finished the season 16–15, 9–11 in Big Ten play to finish in a tie for 10th place. Due to tie-breaking rules, they received the No. 10 seed in the Big Ten tournament before the tournament was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 2019–20 Mercer Bears men's basketball team represented Mercer University in the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bears, led by first-year head coach Greg Gary, played their home games at Hawkins Arena in Macon, Georgia, as members of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 17–15, 11–7 in SoCon play to finish in fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the SoCon tournament to Western Carolina.
