Gregory Michael Pavlick (born March 10,1950) is an American former baseball pitching coach.
Pavlick attended Thomas A. Edison High School in Alexandria,Virginia and the University of North Carolina where he played college baseball for the North Carolina Tar Heels baseball team. He was chosen by the New York Mets in the second round (47th overall) of the 1971 Major League Baseball Draft.
Pavlick became a pitching coach for the Mets from 1985 to 1986,1988 to 1991,and 1994 to 1996. Pavlick was the team's assistant pitching coach (to Mel Stottlemyre) during the 1986 World Series season.[ citation needed ] He became the head pitching coach in 1994. [1] Pavlick was fired as the pitching coach during the 1996 season due in part to his failure to adequately develop Generation K and the team's other young pitchers. He was replaced by Bob Apodaca. By 2001,Pavlick had joined the New York Yankees organization as pitching coach for the Columbus Clippers,though he was reassigned at the end of that season. Pavlick became the pitching coach for the Tampa Yankees in 2002.[ citation needed ] Pavlick would go on to work for several years in the Yankees' minor league system including as a rehabilitation coordinator.[ citation needed ]

David Brian Cone is an American former Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher,and current color commentator for the New York Yankees on the YES Network and Amazon Prime as well as for ESPN on Sunday Night Baseball. A third round draft pick of the Kansas City Royals in 1981 MLB Draft,he made his MLB debut in 1986 and continued playing until 2003,pitching for five different teams. Cone batted left-handed and threw right-handed.

He played in MLB for the New York Yankees,Pittsburgh Pirates,Houston Astros,Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles between 1986 and 1998. Drabek batted and threw right-handed. Known for his fluid pitching motion and sound mechanics,he won the National League Cy Young Award in 1990. Drabek was an MLB All-Star in 1994.
David Allan Righetti,nicknamed "Rags",is an American professional baseball coach and former player. A left-handed pitcher,Righetti played in Major League Baseball from 1979 through 1995 for the New York Yankees,San Francisco Giants,Oakland Athletics,Toronto Blue Jays,and Chicago White Sox. He served as the pitching coach for the Giants from 2000 through 2017.
John Rikard Dempsey is an American former professional baseball player. He played for 24 seasons as a catcher in Major League Baseball from 1969 to 1992,most prominently for the Baltimore Orioles where he played for 10 years and was a member of the 1983 World Series winning team. Dempsey was known for being one of the best defensive catchers of his era. In 1997,he was inducted into the Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame.
