Greta Morgan Salpeter (born February 12, 1988) is an American singer-songwriter and musician based in Los Angeles, CA. [1] Her career began in 2005 as singer/pianist of the Chicago-based band The Hush Sound. [2] She later formed the band Gold Motel, whose debut album was released on June 1, 2010. [3] Since 2014, she performs under the name Springtime Carnivore and has released two albums. [4] [5]
Morgan began learning piano at a young age, studying classical music. She first met Bob Morris, guitarist/vocalist in 2001. [6] The two started playing together and created The Hush Sound, later recruiting Chris Faller on bass and Darren Wilson on drums. She was 16 when she began touring with The Hush Sound.
In 2009, Morgan began recording material with the band Gold Motel. [7]
Together with La Sera's Katy Goodman, Morgan formed the duo Books of Love; they released the song "Space Time" in 2013. [8]
In 2012, Morgan began working on a solo project called Springtime Carnivore and recorded a six-track EP, which was self-released in September of that year. [9] In November 2014, she released a self-titled album through Autumn Tone Records. [10] It was followed by a tour in early 2015 as support to The Dodos. [11]
In early 2016, Morgan again got together with Goodman and recorded a number of punk rock covers with 1960s pop arrangements. [12] It was released in August 2016 as Take It, It's Yours through Polyvinyl, [13] and described by Pitchfork as "one of the comfiest cover-sets in recent memory". [14] On October 7, 2016, her project Springtime Carnivore released their second album, Midnight Room. [15]
In 2018, Morgan joined the new live line-up of Vampire Weekend on keyboards, guitar and vocals. [16] Morgan is also a distant relative of Vampire Weekend vocalist Ezra Koenig. [17]
As well as being a vocalist and pianist, Morgan has also been known to play the guitar, [18] bass guitar, and drums.
M83 are a French electronic music group formed in Antibes in 1999. The Hush Sound is an American indie pop band from Chicago, Illinois, United States. Initially named "The Hush," the band changed its name to "The Hush Sound" due to the discovery of a rapper with the same name. The band consists of Bob Morris, Chris Faller, Darren Wilson, and Greta Salpeter. Mike Leblanc temporarily replaced Faller after he left the band for a few months in 2008.
Like Vines is the second studio album by the Hush Sound. The name of the album comes from a line in "We Intertwined". Like Vines has sold over 50,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan. It was released on Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz's Decaydance Records independent record label along with Fueled By Ramen. It was produced by Fall Out Boy's lead singer Patrick Stump, along with Sean O'Keefe, and Dan Duszynski.
Sean O'Keefe is an American record producer, mixer, and engineer based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. O'Keefe is best known for his work with Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights, Til Morning and Plain White T's, but has also worked with artists such as Motion City Soundtrack, The Hush Sound, Less Than Jake, Company of Thieves, Punchline, Spitalfield, and You vs Yesterday. O'Keefe is also a musician. He is a former member of Chicago band This Is Me Smiling and Danny and The Ketchups, in both of which he played the drums.
Natasha Khan, known professionally as Bat for Lashes, is an English singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Ezra Michael Koenig is an American musician, record producer, and radio personality. He is the lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter of indie rock band Vampire Weekend. Additionally, Koenig is the creator of the Netflix animated comedy series Neo Yokio and also hosts the Apple Music radio talk show Time Crisis with Ezra Koenig. Time Crisis is airing its ninth season, as of 2023.
Vivian Girls is an American band based in Brooklyn, New York. The only consistent members have been Cassie Ramone and Katy Goodman, on guitar and bass, respectively; the group has had several drummers throughout its history. They took their name from a book by outsider artist Henry Darger.
Chris Faller is the bassist of The Hush Sound and Company of Thieves. Faller provides vocals as well, along with bandmates Greta Salpeter, Robert Morris, and Darren Wilson. Faller joined the band last after much persuasion from drummer Darren Wilson, and since then The Hush Sound has been signed by Fueled By Ramen. Faller and The Hush Sound released a new album, titled Goodbye Blues.

Rostam Batmanglij, known mononymously as Rostam, is an American record producer, musician, singer, songwriter, and composer. He was a founding member of the band Vampire Weekend, whose first three albums he produced. He has been described by Stereogum as one of the greatest pop and indie-rock producers of his generation. Rostam also works as a solo artist and is a member of electro-soul group Discovery. He produced his first number-one album, Vampire Weekend's Contra, when he was 27 years old.

Ramone rose to prominence as the guitarist and vocalist of indie rock band Vivian Girls, who broke up in 2014, and later reformed in 2019. She also formed the band project The Babies with Kevin Morby. During The Babies' hiatus, Ramone embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut album The Time Has Come in August 2014.

"Where Eagles Dare" is a song by the American punk rock band Misfits. Written by frontman and vocalist Glenn Danzig, the song was recorded and first released in 1979, alongside the track "Rat Fink", as the B-side of the band's single "Night of the Living Dead". "Where Eagles Dare" was later included on the 1986 compilation album Misfits, also known as Collection I. A version of the song was also included on the compilation album Legacy of Brutality, which was released in 1985.
