Sertab Erener is a Turkish singer, songwriter and composer. With her coloratura soprano voice, she started working as a backing vocalist for Sezen Aksu, and with Aksu's help she released her first studio album in the 1990s. Because of her education in classical music, she initially had difficulties in performing pop music. Although she did experimental works from time to time, she eventually preferred to focus on making pop music instead of avant-garde works, in order to make her music heard by a larger audience. In some of her works, she combined Western music and Eastern music, and benefited from operas as well as classical Turkish music with ethnic elements. With her entrance to Europe's market in the early 2000s, many of her works were also sold in Turkey as well as European countries.

Anatolian rock, or Turkish psychedelic rock, is a fusion of Turkish folk music and rock. It emerged during the mid-1960s, soon after rock groups became popular in Turkey. Most known members of this genre includes Turkish musicians such as Barış Manço, Cem Karaca, Erkin Koray, Selda Bağcan, Fikret Kızılok alongside bands such as Moğollar, Kurtalan Ekspres, 3 Hürel, and Altın Gün.

Haluk Kurosman is a Turkish music producer and co-founder of GRGDN, a music production – management company and record label; producing, mixing and mastering the albums of successful young Turkish artists. Kurosman started to play the guitar at the age of 15 and had his own band, where he was also the frontman. By the age of 23 he decided to move "backstage" and work as a producer. He is a graduate of Deutsche Schule Istanbul and Marmara University in business administration. Later he went to Canada, where he attended Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology (OIART) and graduated in 1999 as "perhaps the most brilliant student to attend OIART since its inception". Thus the institute has founded the Kurosman Award to be given to the most talented students.

Bengü Erden is a Turkish singer. She became first familiar with music during her time at the İzmir State Symphony Orchestra. In İzmir, she was cast in a leading role in the musical "Oliver Twist". She later took singing lessons with İzmir State Conservatory's general manager, Müfit Bayraş. In 1998, by performing a song by Müfit Bayşara, she ranked second at the competition Pop Show '98, organized by Mü-Yap and Show TV. She then studied music at Istanbul Academy. She worked as a backing vocalist for Kenan Doğulu for three years. In 2007, Bengü became the winner of Show TV's singing competition Bak Kim Dans Ediyor. Her first album, Hoş Geldin, was produced by Kenan Doğulu and Ozan Doğulu and released in July 2000. Her second studio album, Bağlasan Durmam, was released in 2005. After two years, she released her third studio album, Taktik. Fi is a first internet TV series in Turkey, the Turkish psychological thriller television series originally streamed online by puhutv. It is an adaptation of award-winning author Azra Kohen's trilogy novels Fi, Çi, and Pi. Its first season consists of 12 episodes which were released from 31 March 2017 to 16 June 2017. The second season started in October 2017.

Hepsi Hit Vol. 1 is the twelfth studio album by Turkish singer Hande Yener. It was released on 6 June 2016 by Poll Production. After releasing Mükemmel in 2014, Yener started to collect songs for her upcoming projects, and in mid 2015 she announced that different pieces for her new album were ready and set to be released at an appropriate time. In the early 2016, the title of the album was announced, and the recording phase started at the studio. Out of the 120 songs that she had received, she chose 20 of them for recording and as the production company was satisfied with all the pieces, they decided to release Hepsi Hit in two separate volumes.
