Guglielmo Palazzani (born 11 April 1991) is an Italian rugby union player. His usual position is as a Scrum-half, and he currently plays for Zebre. [1]

For 2012–13 Pro12 season, he named as Permit Player for Zebre in Pro 14. [2]

In 2012 and 2013, he was named in the Emerging Italy squad. In January 2014, Palazzani was named in the Italian squad for the 2014 Six Nations Championship. [3] [4] Regarding Rugby World Cup, on 24 August 2015, Palazzani was named in the final 31-man squad for the 2015 Rugby World Cup and [5] on 18 August 2019, he was named in the final 31-man squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. Biography

Trained in the youth teams of Fiumicello di Brescia , he moved to Calvisano in 2009, making his debut in the A2 series in April 2010 in Benevento against the Samnite Gladiators ; at the same time he climbed the various ranks of the youth national teams up to the Under-20, with which in 2011 he competed in the Six Nations category.In 2012 he became champion of Italy with Calvisano and also won the Excellence Trophy and, in the wake of these successes, he was summoned to the Emerging Italy which disputed the Nations Cup. Former permit player for the Zebre in 2012-13, at the end of the season he moved to the Parma franchise on a permanent basis, and in 2014 the C.T. of Italy Jacques Brunel called him up for the Six Nations, although the debut took place during the mid-year tour in the Pacific against Fiji.Still under the Brunel management he was part of the Italian team that took part in the 2015 World Cup in England ; also used by the successor on the blue bench, Conor O'Shea, he was used by him in the Six Nations, on tours and finally at the 2019 World Cup in Japan References
