Gunn (surname)

Gunn is a surname. In some cases the surname it is derived from the Old Norse masculine personal name Gunnr. In other cases it may be derived from the Old Norse feminine personal name Gunnhildr. [1] It is also a diminutive of the Irish surname MacElgunn, deriving from Mac Gioll Dhuinn. [2]
