Gunnar Fatland (born 9 November 1946 in Kvinnherad) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party.
He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Rogaland in 1985, and was re-elected on two occasions.
On the local level Fatland was mayor of Strand during the term 1979–1983, and then became a member of the executive committee of Strand municipality council from 1983 to 1987. From 1983 to 1987 he was also a deputy member of Rogaland county council.
Outside politics he mainly worked as a banker. He was a member of various public boards and committees, and of the local sports club in Tau.
Ølen is a former municipality in the Vestlandet region of Norway. The municipality existed from 1916 until 2006, and originally it was a part of Hordaland county, but in 2002 it was transferred to Rogaland county prior to its dissolution in 2006. The 181-square-kilometre (70 sq mi) municipality was located on the south side of the Bjoafjorden and east of the Ålfjorden. The administrative center of Ølen was the village of Ølensjøen. The municipality of Ølen makes up the northern part of the present-day Vindafjord Municipality in Rogaland county.
Strand is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Ryfylke. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Jørpeland. The municipality lies across the fjord from the city of Stavanger. The Ryfast tunnel system connects Stavanger and Strand by a very long undersea tunnel.

Gunnar Berge is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party, born in Etne, Hordaland. Berge represented Rogaland in the Norwegian Parliament from 1969 to 1993. He was Minister of Finance 1986–1989, Minister of Local Government and Regional Development 1992–1997, as well as minister of Nordic Cooperation 1992–1996. After his political career he was Director General of the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate 1996–2007. He was also member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee from 1997 to 2002, as leader from 2000 to 2002.
