Guthro is the 2001 third album from Canadian artist Bruce Guthro. The album produced the singles Disappear, Factory Line, Livin' A Lie and 4 A.M.. The album is also noted for Guthro crossing over to pop from country.

Bruce Guthro is a Canadian singer/songwriter, from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Guthro has recorded as a solo artist, and in 1998 joined the Scottish celtic rock band Runrig, whilst still pursuing his solo career. Guthro has received several ECMAs, and hosted and conceptualized the Canadian TV show Songwriters Circle, on which guests included Jim Cuddy, Colin James, and Alan Doyle.

Runrig Scottish Celtic rock group

Runrig was a Scottish Celtic rock band formed on the Isle of Skye, Scotland in 1973. From its inception, the band's line-up included songwriters Rory Macdonald and Calum Macdonald. The line-up during most of the 1980s and 1990s also included Donnie Munro, Malcolm Jones, Iain Bayne, and Pete Wishart. Munro left the band in 1997 to pursue a career in politics and was replaced by Bruce Guthro. Wishart left in 2001 and was replaced by Brian Hurren. The band released fourteen studio albums, with a number of their songs sung in Scottish Gaelic.

Let the Sunshine In is the sixteenth studio album by Diana Ross & the Supremes recorded and released by Motown in 1969. It contains the hit single "I'm Livin' in Shame", "The Composer," a Smokey Robinson composition that peaked at number 27, and "No Matter What Sign You Are," - a single produced by Motown chief Berry Gordy that failed to crack to Top 30. Though the album was released when the group consisted of Diana Ross, Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdsong, original founding member Florence Ballard appears on two songs. One track from this album, "Let The Music Play" was an outtake from the I Hear a Symphony album recording sessions and therefore features backing by Ballard, who was fired in 1967, two years prior to the release of this album. The other track, "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted," was recorded by the Supremes in 1966. According to Motown data this album sold over 625,000 copies in the USA.

"Doin' Time" is a single by the American band Sublime. It is featured on their self-titled third album. The lyrics tell of a cheating girlfriend, whose infidelities and poor treatment of her lover makes him feel like he is in prison. It was released as a single on November 25, 1997; the disk contained alternate versions of the song by Wyclef Jean and The Pharcyde. Additional versions appeared on the post-Bradley Nowell compilation album Second-hand Smoke and several bootlegs, including one with Snoop Dogg.

The Innocent was the band Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails played with after leaving Option 30. He then moved on to the Exotic Birds before creating his own band, Nine Inch Nails. The other members were Alan Greenblatt, Kevin Valentine, Rodney Cajka and Albritton McClain. Valentine and McClain were both members of Donnie Iris and the Cruisers, and they had just recently opted to go on their own way from the band. The band's sole album was released on the regional Red Label Records.

The music video for "Straight Talk" was directed by Dominic Orlando at the SIR Stage in Hollywood, CA. The video's guest musicians included Russ Kunkel, C. J. Ross is a 1978 studio album/compilation released by American singer Diana Ross on the Motown label. The album was a mixture of older tunes Ross recorded and newer recordings, side A consisting of four tracks recorded in 1978 and Side B of material recorded between the years 1971 and 1975, but remixed and/or extended by Motown in-house producer Russ Terrana specifically for the Ross album. Ross peaked at #49 on the US Pop Albums chart, and #32 on Black Albums. The album failed to chart in the UK. Its final USA sales figures stood at around 150,000 copies. The cover illustration was by Rickey Ricardo Gaskins. A different album also titled Ross was released on the RCA label in 1983.

Jason Michael Carroll American musician

Jason Michael Carroll is an American country music artist. After being discovered at a local talent competition in 2004, Carroll was signed to the Arista Nashville label in 2006, releasing his debut album Waitin' in the Country that year. This album has produced three consecutive Top 40 country hits for him on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts: "Alyssa Lies", "Livin' Our Love Song" and "I Can Sleep When I'm Dead". Mathias Crochon, better known as Rockin' Squat, is a French MC. He is the son of the actor Jean-Pierre Cassel and the brother of Vincent Cassel and Cécile Cassel.
