H. W. Ruliffson (born 1834) was an American farmer and legislator.
Born in New York, Ruliffson moved to Minnesota Territory in 1857 and eventually settled in Russell, Minnesota where he farmed. He served in the Minnesota House of Representatives as a Republican in 1870 and from 1903 to 1904. [1]

Thomas Henry Armstrong was a Minnesota banker, lawyer, legislator, and the fifth Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota. He became Lieutenant Governor under Governor William Rainey Marshall from January 8, 1866, to January 7, 1870. Armstrong served in the Minnesota Constitutional Convention and both houses of the Minnesota State Legislature. He died in 1891 in Albert Lea, Minnesota.
Charles Daniel Sherwood was a Minnesota politician, the youngest Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives in state history, and the fourth Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota (1864–1866). He served in the Minnesota House of Representatives 1859–1861 and 1863 from Fillmore County, Minnesota. He was born in New Milford, Connecticut in 1833. He came to Minnesota in 1855 and was a farmer and a worker in the newspaper business. He died in Chicago, Illinois in 1895. In 1878, Sherwood settled in Franklin County, Tennessee and platted the community of Sherwood, Tennessee that was named for him.
