HC Viking are an ice hockey team based in Tallinn, Estonia. They are members of the Meistriliiga (EML). They have won one Estonian Championship since their founding in 2014. HC Viking play their home games at Tondiraba Ice Hall.

History

HC Viking was founded in 2014 by Anatoli Sizov and Igor Saveljev as a successor of the two-time Estonian champions HK Viiking Sport. The club won their first Estonian Championship trophy in the 2017–18 EML season. [1] [2]

Champions Hockey League Ice hockey tournament launched 2014

The Champions Hockey League is a European ice hockey tournament. Launched in the 2014–15 season by 26 clubs, 6 leagues and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), the tournament features top teams from the first-tier leagues of countries across Europe.

The 2013–14 Slovak Extraliga season is the 21st season of the Slovak Extraliga, the highest level of ice hockey in Slovakia.

The 2014–15 Meistriliiga season was the 75th season of the Meistriliiga, the top level of ice hockey in Estonia, since the league's formation in 1934. The title was won by Tartu Kalev-Välk who defeated Narva PSK in the finals.

The 2017–18 EIHL season was the 15th season of the Elite Ice Hockey League. The regular season commenced on 9 September 2017 and ended on 25 March 2018. The reigning league champions were the Cardiff Devils, who won the championship for the first time in 2016–17. The Devils retained their regular season title, with a 3–2 victory away at the Belfast Giants on 16 March 2018. The Devils also won the playoff title, beating the Sheffield Steelers – who had defeated the Devils 12 months prior in a 6–5 double overtime game – 3–1 in the final, winning a first playoff title since 1998–99.

The 2017–18 Korvpalli Meistriliiga season was the 93rd season of top-tier basketball in Estonia.

The 2017–18 EML season was the 78th season of the Meistriliiga, the top level of ice hockey in Estonia. The season began on 30 September 2017 and concluded on 24 March 2018, with HC Viking winning the Estonian Championship over Tartu Kalev-Välk in four games.
