Tordenskjold was a steam frigate of the Royal Danish Navy. The ship was named after Peter Tordenskjold, an 18th-century Danish admiral. ^[1]

Construction and career

She was launched on 16 June 1852 by Nyholm shipyard in Copenhagen. She was commissioned on 15 April 1854. ^{[2] [3]}

In 1871, she was sold for merchant service and sank in the Atlantic in 1892. ^[4]
