HEARDing Cats Collective is a St Louis based organization dedicated to the promotion of artists founded by Rich O'Donnell and Anna Lum, Mike Murphy, and Ryan Harris in 2009. [1] [2] HEARDing Cats promotes and presents and wide variety of improvisation music, [2] [3] film, [4] poetry, performance art, and dance. [5] [6]

The Cat's Meow is a 2001 historical drama film directed by Peter Bogdanovich, and starring Kirsten Dunst, Eddie Izzard, Edward Herrmann, Cary Elwes, Joanna Lumley, and Jennifer Tilly. The screenplay by Steven Peros is based on his 1997 play of the same title, which was inspired by the mysterious death of film mogul Thomas H. Ince that occurred on William Randolph Hearst's yacht during a weekend cruise celebrating Ince's birthday in November 1924. Among those in attendance were Hearst's longtime companion and film actress Marion Davies, fellow actor Charlie Chaplin, writer Elinor Glyn, columnist Louella Parsons, and actress Margaret Livingston. The film provides a speculative assessment on the unclear manner of Ince's death.

Paint Louis is an annual global community event happening over the American holiday Labor Day bringing together people practicing all four elements of Hip hop including Graffiti, Breakdancing, Rapping and DJs to St. Louis for three days of creation and performance. The event started informally in 1995 as a "graffiti jam" and became more formalized in 1997 as noted with its 20th anniversary celebration in 2017. One of the originators, if not the man outright credited with the genesis of Paint Louis, is Stun1.

<i>Ugly Beauty</i> 2018 studio album by Jolin Tsai

Ugly Beauty is the fourteenth studio album by Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai. It was released on December 26, 2018, by Sony Music Taiwan. Production was done by Tsai with Razor Chiang, Starr Chen, Howe Chen, and Øzi, alongside a variety of collaborators including Rhys Fletcher, Richard Craker, Hayley Aitken, Jeff Bova, and Alex Sypes. Musically, it is a pop record which merges a series of genres such as trap, house, reggae, and gothic rock. Thematically, it tends to break through the traditional aesthetic criterion and explore the bipolarity of human feeling.

Stacy Johnson was an American R&B singer and songwriter best known as a vocalist in the Ike & Tina Turner Revue. Johnson also released solo records and sang in the St. Louis based group the Sharpees led by Benny Sharp.
