The HIW Canadian Grand Championship was a professional wrestling championship created by the Canadian professional wrestling promotion High Impact Wrestling. The inaugural champion was Shaun Moore who won the title on August 31, 2018 at the Pile O'Bones Rumble XXIII. [1] [2] Canadian Wrestling's Elite acquired HIW's assets and continued to promote the title until it was unified with the CWE Central Canadian Heavyweight Championship on October 31, 2021 at CWE's Rumble to Remember. [3]

John Cozman was a Canadian professional wrestler and trainer, known by his ring name "Principal" Richard Pound who competed in North American independent promotions, most notably as a mainstay of Stampede Wrestling during the 1980s and late 1990s.

Tony Kozina is an American professional wrestler who is best known for his work in the Pacific Northwest especially in Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling and National Wrestling Alliance. He has also made appearances in Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Full Impact Pro, IWA-Mid South, World Wrestling Entertainment and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

High Impact Wrestling (Canada) Professional wrestling promotion

High Impact Wrestling Canada (HIW) was a professional wrestling promotion, based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Known for its hard hitting "Saskatchewan Style", the HIW roster consisted of nearly 40 regular performers. On January 1, 2019, the company celebrated its 21-year anniversary. This anniversary made High Impact Wrestling one of the oldest continuously active pro-wrestling companies to run in Canada. HIW partnered with Access 7, a TV station in Regina, SK, in January 2014 to begin producing a weekly TV show which aired every Tuesday night at 8pm. The Access television program had aired for five consecutive seasons. HIW closed on October 25th, 2019 after 21 years of operation. It was announced on September 20, 2019 that the company would be absorbed by Winnipeg based Canadian Wrestling's Elite.

Oliver Biney is a British professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, performing on the NXT UK brand under the ring name Rampage Brown. He is known for his work throughout the European and British independent wrestling circuit. However, Rampage briefly worked for American promotions World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and its developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling in 2011 and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in September 2014. He is currently a trainer for New Generation Wrestling in their North East School.

The ICW World Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship owned by Scotland's Insane Championship Wrestling promotion. The title was first established as the ICW National Heavyweight Championship at ICW's debut show on October 15, 2006, with Drew Galloway becoming the inaugural champion. On February 7, 2015, the title was officially renamed the ICW World Heavyweight Championship after Galloway successfully defended the title in a match against Matt Hardy for the Family Wrestling Entertainment promotion in New York. The championship has been defended in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, Australia, Denmark, Italy and Germany. In addition to these international title matches, defenses can be seen televised in over 30 countries via Fight Network as well as an international presence on iPPV.

Adrian McCallum was a British professional wrestler, professional wrestling promoter and actor, better known by his ring name Lionheart. He wrestled for numerous promotions in the British Independent wrestling circuit including Insane Championship Wrestling, in which he reigned as the ICW World Heavyweight Champion until his death, and Preston City Wrestling. He was also the owner of Ayrshire-based wrestling promotion "Pro Wrestling Elite".

Wolfgang (wrestler) Scottish professional wrestler

Barry Young is a Scottish professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE performing for their NXT UK brand, under the ring name Wolfgang. He resides in Ayr, Scotland and wrestles for numerous promotions in the British Independent circuit, most notably Insane Championship Wrestling where he is a former member of the New Age Kliq (NAK) stable and is a former ICW World Heavyweight Champion and ICW Zero-G Champion. Wolfgang is a Wrestling Coach at GPWA Glasgow Asylum. He is also a former NXT UK Tag Team Champion.

The CWE Central Canadian Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling heavyweight championship in the professional wrestling promotion, Canadian Wrestling's Elite. The championship was first awarded on September 2, 2001 as the World High Impact Pro Wrestling Central Canadian Heavyweight Championship. Charlie Hayes was the inaugural champion having won the title in a gauntlet match. Brett Evans became the final champion under the HIW banner after defeating Tony Novak in the finals a tournament at HIW Monster Brawl VI on October 25, 2019. Monster Brawl was the final show in HIW history. It was became a title under CWE banner as they purchased all of High Impact Wrestling's assets and absorbed the company.

The HIW Wildside Provincial Championship was a professional wrestling heavyweight championship in the professional wrestling promotion, High Impact Wrestling Canada. The title was established on April 24, 2004 as the HIW Great Plains Provincial Championship. Michael Allen Richard Clark won the Great Plains Provincial Championship on September 20, 2013, then won the Wildside Provincial Championship on November 22, 2013 in a fatal four-way match to crown the first champion. Upon Clark winning the Wildside Provincial Championship, the Great Plains Provincial Championship was unified with it 24-hours later upon regulation changes. The lineage from the Great Plains Provincial Championship continued to be recognized with both Clark having separate reigns as champion. On October 25, 2019 at Monster Brawl VI, Rex Roberts defeated Bobby Sharp to become the final champion in HIW history. Monster Brawl VI was the HIW's last show as the company ceased operations. Canadian Wrestling's Elite acquired all of HIW's assets.

The HIW Canadian Tag Team Championship was a professional wrestling tag team championship in the professional wrestling promotion, High Impact Wrestling. The championship was established on June 8, 2005 when Dylan Robson and Screaming Eagle defeated Antonio Scorpio Jr. and Curtis Knievel. On February 22, 2018; Los Rudos unveiled new title belts at Destruction Theory in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The titles became deactivated on October 25, 2019 after HIW's last show Monster Brawl VI as the company ceased operations. Canadian Wrestling's Elite acquired all of HIW's assets.

Game Changer Wrestling American professional wrestling promotion

Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) is an American independent professional wrestling promotion based in New Jersey. The promotion was originally founded by Ricky Otazu in 1999 as Jersey Championship Wrestling (JCW). It was rebranded under its current name in 2015, after a sale to Danny Demanto and current owner Brett Lauderdale. The promotion specializes in hardcore and "death matches", as well as mixed martial arts-inspired shoot style matches.
