Hacktivist Nepal is a hacker group that came to light amid 2025 Nepalese pro-monarchy protests. The group endorses a pro-monarchy stance supporting the restoration of hindu state in Nepal.
The group had defaced the websites of Nepal's Department of Customs ("customs.gov.np") and Survey Department ("dos.gov.np") with the defaced pages displaying a photo of King Birendra, the former king of Nepal along with the text "Raja Aau, Desh Bachau" (Bring Back the King, Save the Nation) and an attached audio of Nepal's former national anthem Shriman Gambhir. The group claimed to have hacked DishHome, an ISP and DTH provider in Nepal, breaching data of 120,000 customers which allegedly included personal details, billing information and usage reports. [5] They threatened to release data of additional 20 to 30 thousand customers later. [6]
उनीहरूले बाँकी २० देखि ३० हजार डाटा चाँडै सार्वजनिक गर्ने चेतावनी पनि दिएका छन्[They have also warned that the remaining 20,000 to 30,000 data will be made public soon]
