Hadejia Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Hadejia, Jigawa State, Nigeria. [1] It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Jigawa Golden Stars F.C.. The stadium has a capacity of 15,000 people. [1]

Damming of the river for the purposes of irrigation has led to a decrease in the amount of water in the Hadejia-Nguru wetlands, which the river forms along with Nguru Lake. The Hadejia river is now 80% controlled by the Tiga and Challawa Gorge dams in Kano State.

The Odeon of Domitian was an ancient Roman building on the Campus Martius in Rome, used for plays and musical competitions and with room for an audience of 11,000. Begun by Domitian in imitation of Greek odeons, it was completed or restored in 106 by Apollodorus of Damascus. Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic (HAFEDPOLY) is located in Kazaure, Jigawa State, Nigeria. It was created in December 1991 as Jigawa State Polytechnic, with four colleges in different locations. These were the College of Engineering, Science and Technology at Kazaure, the College of Business and Management Studies at Dutse, the College of Islamic and Legal Studies at Ringim and the College of Agriculture at Hadejia. Ibrahim Mohammed Kirikasama was elected Senator for the Jigawa North East constituency of Jigawa State, Nigeria at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic, running on the All People's Party (APP) platform.
