Chengdu, alternatively romanized as Chengtu, is a sub-provincial city which serves as the capital of the Chinese province of Sichuan. It is one of the three most-populous cities in Western China, the other two being Chongqing and Xi'an. As of 2014, the administrative area housed 14,427,500 inhabitants, the largest in Sichuan, with an urban population of 10,152,632. At the time of the 2010 census, Chengdu was the fifth-most populous agglomeration in China, with 10,484,996 inhabitants in the built-up area including Xinjin County and Deyang's Guanghan City. Chengdu is considered a "Beta + " city classification according to the Globalization and World Cities Research Network. In 2021, Chengdu ranked 35th in the Global Financial Centres Index.
Dalian is a major sub-provincial port city in Liaoning province, People's Republic of China, and is Liaoning's second largest city and the fourth-most populous city of Northeast China. Located on the southern tip of Liaodong peninsula, it is the southernmost city in both Liaoning and the entire Northeast. Dalian borders the prefectural cities of Yingkou and Anshan to the north and Dandong to the northeast, and also shares maritime boundaries with Qinhuangdao and Huludao across the Liaodong Bay to west and northwest, Yantai and Weihai on the Shandong peninsula across the Bohai Strait to the south, and North Korea across the Korea Bay to the east.

Ocean Park Hong Kong, commonly known as Ocean Park, is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park and amusement park situated in Wong Chuk Hang and Nam Long Shan in the Southern District of Hong Kong. Schooner Gulch State Beach is a beach located in Mendocino County, California. It is located approximately 50 miles northwest of Santa Rosa. It's famous for Bowling Ball Beach, where you can view its natural spherical sandstone concretions at low tide. The first season of the show features 10 teams of two, each with a pre-existing relationship, in a race across 11 cities in China to win a world tour provided by Travelzen. It is the third Asian version of the franchise, after The Amazing Race Asia and HaMerotz LaMillion. The host of the show is Allan Wu, who also hosted the Asian version as well.

Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is a theme park situated in Hengqin, Zhuhai, People's Republic of China. It is designed by PGAV Destinations. The park broke ground on 28 November 2010 and soft-opened on 28 January 2014. The grand opening occurred on 29 March that year. The first phase of the park cost RMB 10 billion to build. It is part of the Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort, which aims to become the "Orlando of China". According to TEA and AECOM, it is the 10th most visited theme park in the world in 2018, with 10.83 million visitors.
Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort is a theme park resort located in Hengqin, Zhuhai, China and owned by Chimelong Group. The resort currently consists of one theme park, two theaters and three themed hotels. With a 20 billion yuan investment, future plans for the resort include at least three additional theme parks, a new aerial tramway transportation system, an artificial island, and at least one additional hotel. Chimelong expects visitation at Chimelong International Ocean Resort to increase to over 50 million annually once all of the theme parks are operating.
Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park is a theme park owned by Haichang Ocean Park Holdings and located in the Chinese municipality of Shanghai. The grand opening of the park took place on November 16, 2018. The park is Haichang Ocean Park Holdings' second theme park in the country. Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park is themed to the ocean and its marine life and features rides, animal exhibits, an onsite hotel, and shows. Half of the park is themed to a tundra environment, which includes a conspicuous snow-covered mountain, while the other half of the park is themed to a tropical environment, which includes an equally conspicuous volcano. The two halves are connected by a gondola lift and two large pedestrian bridges that cross a canal. The theme park's flagship attractions include a launch roller coaster, a whale shark exhibit, a river rapids ride, and a killer whale show and exhibit.
Adventure World(ja: 白浜アドベンチャーワールド, Shirahama Adventure World) is a theme park that integrates a zoo, a public aquarium, and an amusement park in Shirahama-cho, Nishimuro-gun, Wakayama Prefecture. It is operated by Hours Co., Ltd. (AWS), an affiliate of Marusue Co., Ltd. headquartered in Matsubara City, Osaka Prefecture. When it first opened on April 22, 1978, it was called "Nanki Shirahama World Safari."
