Haifa bint Muhammad Al Saud is a Saudi royal and deputy minister of tourism. Since 2012 she has assumed various government posts.
Haifa bint Muhammad is a member of the Al Saud family. Her father is the grandson of Khalid bin Muhammad Al Saud, the son of Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud. [1] She received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of New Haven in 2008. [2] [3] She also obtained a master's degree in business administration and management from London Business School, University of London, in 2017. [2] [3]
Following her graduation Haifa bint Muhammad began to work at HSBC, United Kingdom, as an analyst of equity sales. [2] She joined the Saudi ministry of higher education in 2012 where she served as a senior consultant. [2] In the period between 2017 and 2019 she was the managing director at the General Sports Authority. [2] In July 2018 she was appointed secretary-general of Formula E Holdings. [2]
In January 2020 she was named as a board member of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). [4] She represents the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage at the GACA. [2] On 3 July 2022 she was appointed deputy minister of tourism where she had been serving as an assistant minister. [1] [3]
Her other posts include vice chairwoman of the Saudi Fencing Federation and chairwoman of the women’s committee at the Arab Fencing Federation. [2]
Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was a Saudi Arabian statesman and diplomat who was King of Saudi Arabia from 2 November 1964 until his assassination in 1975. Prior to his ascension, he served as Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia from 9 November 1953 to 2 November 1964, and he was briefly regent to his half-brother King Saud in 1964. He was prime minister from 1954 to 1960 and from 1962 to 1975. Faisal was the third son of King Abdulaziz, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia.

Sultan bin Salman Al Saud is a Saudi prince and former Royal Saudi Air Force pilot who flew aboard the American STS-51-G Space Shuttle mission as a payload specialist. He is the first member of a royal family to fly in space, the first Arab to fly in space, and the first Muslim to fly in space, as well as the youngest person ever to fly on the Space Shuttle. On 27 December 2018, he was appointed as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Space Commission at the rank of minister. He is the eldest surviving son of King Salman.

Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud (1875–1953), the founder and first king of Saudi Arabia, also called Ibn Saud, was very young when he first got married. However, his wife died shortly after their marriage. Ibn Saud remarried at eighteen and his firstborn child was Prince Turki I. He had 45 sons of whom 36 survived to adulthood and had children of their own. He also had many daughters. He is thought to have had 22 wives.
