"Hair" is a song by the American hard rock band The Lucid. [1] Included on their debut self-titled album The Lucid (2021), it was written by Drew Fortier, Mike Heller, David Ellefson and Vinnie Dombroski. [2]
The instrumental of the song was originally demoed by Drew Fortier in 2017. In early 2020, Fortier revisited the piece along with frequent collaborators Mike Heller and David Ellefson who recorded drums and bass for the demo respectively. [3] Vocalist Vinnie Dombroski was brought in as a collaborator, completing the song, "Hair" as well as the line up for the band. [4]
Drums and bass for the song were recorded at Mike Heller's Heaven and Heller Studio in Los Angeles, California with guitars and vocals handled by Fortier and Dombroski at their respective home studios. [5] The song was mixed and mastered by Lasse Lammert. [6]
The song was released on October 6, 2021 as the band's third single from The Lucid. [7]
The band collaborated with actor/filmmaker Hannah Fierman who, in addition to directing, wrote and starred in the video for "Hair". [8] The video was released April 19, 2021. [9] [10]

Megadeth is an American thrash metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1983 by vocalist/guitarist Dave Mustaine. "Peace Sells" is a song by American thrash metal band Megadeth from their 1986 album Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?, written by Dave Mustaine. The song was released as the band's second ever single in November 1986. "Peace Sells" was the group's breakthrough hit, and is regarded as one of the best songs in the history of heavy metal. Since 1985, the song has since been a constant at Megadeth concerts. According to David Ellefson, it became quickly apparent when playing the song live prior to recording the album that "Peace Sells" would be a hit. James LoMenzo is an American musician, currently the bassist for thrash metal band Megadeth. He has previously been a member of White Lion, Black Label Society, Pride & Glory and Slash's Snakepit, and played with David Lee Roth, John Fogerty and Ace Frehley. LoMenzo was the bassist for Megadeth from 2006 to 2010, and rejoined the band as a touring member in August 2021, before becoming a permanent member again in June 2022. Outside of music, LoMenzo appeared as a contestant on the 21st season of the reality television series The Amazing Race.

Andrew Lawrence Fortier is an American musician, guitarist, filmmaker, actor, and author. He is best known for his work with The Lucid; which he cofounded alongside Vinnie Dombroski (Sponge), David Ellefson, and Mike Heller. He was guitarist for the now late Chuck Mosley. He has directed and edited the documentary Attack of Life: The Bang Tango Movie as well as the David Ellefson produced horror film Dwellers which Fortier also wrote and stars in. He is the author of Dark, Depressing, and Hilarious which is an autobiography on his career thus far.
