The University of Wyoming (UW) is a public land-grant research university in Laramie, Wyoming. It was founded in March 1886, four years before the territory was admitted as the 44th state, and opened in September 1887. The University of Wyoming is unusual in that its location within the state is written into the state's constitution. The university also offers outreach education in communities throughout Wyoming and online.
The Wisconsin Field House is a multi-purpose arena owned by the University of Wisconsin–Madison and located directly south of Camp Randall Stadium. In addition to sports events, the Field House has been the site of large community gatherings such as convocations and concerts. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The Kathleen and Tom Elam Center is a multi-purpose sports and recreation facility on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin (UTM) named in honor of University of Tennessee Trustee Col. Tom Elam and his wife, Kathleen. Col. Elam, of nearby Union City, Tennessee, was the long-time chairman of the Athletics Committee of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees. The Elam Center houses the UTM Intercollegiate Athletics and the Department of Health and Human Performance. It features seven basketball courts with volleyball and badminton options, seven racquetball courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, an equipment check-out area, a weight room, an interior jogging balcony, an aerobics room, and Skyhawk Arena.
The Victor R. Yanitelli, S.J. Recreational Life Center, known today as the Run Baby Run Arena, is a multipurpose athletic facility on the campus of Saint Peter's University, a private, coeducational Roman Catholic university in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. Notable for its air-supported "bubble," the building opened in 1975 at a cost of $6 million and is named after the 17th president of the college.
Viking Pavilion, attached to the Peter W. Stott Center, is a 3,094-seat multi-purpose arena located on the Portland State University campus in downtown Portland, Oregon. Viking Pavilion is home to the Portland State men's basketball, women's basketball, and volleyball teams. In addition to hosting sports events, the facility houses the Portland State Vikings Athletics Department and physical education classes. It features student locker rooms, a basketball/volleyball court, racquetball courts, an eighth-mile track, wrestling room, and a small gym. Viking Pavilion was fully renovated for 2018, but originally opened in 1966.
The Ellis F. Corbett Health, Physical Education and Recreation Center, usually called simply the Corbett Sports Center and popularly referred to as the "Dawg Pound", is a multi-purpose arena in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States, on the campus of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. The complex is home to multiple North Carolina A&T Aggies athletic teams, including the men's and women's basketball teams as well as the women's volleyball and swimming teams. The complex, opened in 1978, is named after Ellis F. Corbett, a 1931 graduate of A&T. Affectionately known as "Mr.A&T", Corbett was, for many years, the director of public relations and executive secretary of the national alumni association.

The Kress Events Center, also known as the KEC or the Kress, is a multipurpose athletic facility located in Green Bay, Wisconsin on the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay campus. The facility's main gym hosts the UW-Green Bay women's basketball and volleyball teams. The Calvin Knights are the Calvin University athletics teams. Calvin University fields 11 men's and 11 women's varsity intercollegiate teams that participate in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association at the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III level. Men's volleyball is the newest varsity sport, having been added for the 2024 season ; since the MIAA sponsors volleyball only for women, that team plays in the single-sport Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League.

Swinney Recreation Center is home to UMKC Campus Recreation and is the student recreation center for UMKC. The recreation center includes a fitness center, 5 multipurpose basketball courts, several group fitness studios, 3 racquetball courts, a boxing room, a squash court, an indoor track, a recreational field, an outdoor track and a large aquatics center. The recreation center offers memberships for UMKC students, faculty and staff as well as community members. The recreation center also holds a 1,500-seat arena It is the home of the UMKC men's and women's basketball teams, known since the 2019–20 season as the Kansas City Roos. Under the school's previous athletic identity as the UMKC Kangaroos, the men's basketball team played there from 1969 to 1986, and again from 2010 to 2012. The men returned at the beginning of 2019. The Kansas City women's basketball team also currently plays their home games at Swinney Recreation Center.
Pioneer Hall is a building on the campus of Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, that is the home of the TWU Pioneers basketball, gymnastics, and volleyball teams as well as numerous fitness facilities, classrooms, and offices.
The Lyon Center or Lyon Recreation Center is a student recreational facility and part-time varsity athletics facility located on the campus of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The Lyon Center's full name is the General William Lyon University Center and is named for William Lyon, a former General in the United States Army Air Corps and United States Air Force. The facility is adjacent to the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
