Halina Mlynkova (born 22 June 1977) is a Polish-Czech singer. From 1998 to 2003, she was the vocalist of a popular Polish folk-rock group Brathanki.

Biography

Mlynkova was born on 22 June 1977 in Návsí, Czechoslovakia to a Polish family, as a daughter of Władysław and Anna Młynek. She graduated from Medical High School in Cieszyn and Jagiellonian University in Kraków. [1]

She was married to Polish actor Łukasz Nowicki for nine years. They divorced on 25 May 2012. Łukasz and Halina have a son Piotr. Since February 2015 she is married to the Czech music producer Lešek Wronka. Mlynkova is a Lutheran. [2]

Dezerter, founded as SS-20 in May 1981 in Warsaw, is one of the most popular punk bands from Poland. The band was founded by three students of Warsaw's vocational high school (technikum) - Robert "Robal" Matera (guitar), Krzysztof Grabowski (drums), and Dariusz "Stepa" Stepnowski (bass). All three were born in 1963, and went to the same class. From the beginning Grabowski wrote lyrics, and Matera music. The three classmates originally planned to name their band Sektor A, but after some time changed their minds and named it SS-20. Soon afterwards, they were joined by another student of the same school, Dariusz "Skandal" Hajn, who, as Grabowski later stated, "looked like a real punkrocker". The band started regular rehearsals in the summer of 1981. With fast guitar riffs and intelligent lyrics written by Grabowski, Dezerter's concerts drew thousands of fans and its LPs were very popular, especially in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Andrzej Smolik is a Polish musician, composer, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He began his career as a keyboard player in the band Wilki in 1993. Later he collaborated with Wilki's vocalist, Robert Gawliński on the production of his solo album Solo. In 1996 and 1997 Smolik worked with the group Hey. He also collaborated with Hey's vocalist Kasia Nosowska on her solo album Milena in 1998. In following years he continued to work with Nosowska and Gawliński on their subsequent solo projects. He also worked with DJ Novika and with the group Myslovitz, and Artur Rojek, Mika Urbaniak, Krzysztof Krawczyk. Smolik won the national "Fryderyk" award for composers in 2003 and 2004. And in 2004 he won a 'Polityka's Passport Award' from one of the biggest opinion-forming newsmagazines in Poland - Polityka ("Politics"). Golec uOrkiestra is a Polish folk-rock group, founded in 1998 in the southern village of Milówka near Żywiec by twin brothers Paweł and Łukasz Golec, after whom it is named. At its inception, the group consisted of eight musicians. The band performed mostly during holidays but also in local clubs. In 1999, two more musicians were added, and in March of that year, the first album was recorded in a studio in Bielsko-Biala. In the following years, Golec uOrkiestra recorded several more albums, becoming one of the most popular folk-rock bands in the country. In an address given on June 15, 2001, at Warsaw University, president George W.
