The Kasper Salin Prize is a prize awarded annually by Architects Sweden to a Swedish building or building project "of high architectural quality". It is considered the most prestigious architectural prize in the country and has been awarded since 1962. The award is distributed to the building itself and consists of a bronze relief, designed by Swedish architect Bengt Lindroos (1918–2010), which is attached to the building. The prize was funded on the basis of a donation from Kasper Salin (1856–1919) who served as the city architect of Stockholm from 1898 until 1915.
The Nordic Museum is a museum located on Djurgården, an island in central Stockholm, Sweden, dedicated to the cultural history and ethnography of Sweden from the early modern period to the contemporary period. The museum was founded in the late 19th century by Artur Hazelius, who also founded the open-air museum Skansen. It was, for a long time, part of the museum, until the institutions were made independent of each other in 1963.

Bengt Karl Erik Lindström was a Swedish artist. Lindström was one of Sweden's best known contemporary artists with a characteristic style of distinct colors, often including contorted faces. He had two children, Mariana and Alexandre. In 2003, Lindström became disabled due to a stroke and he became unable to paint. The year 2004 saw the release of a film about Bengt's life: "Lindström - Le Diable de la Couleur et de la Forme". On 29 January 2008, Lindström died at his home in Sundsvall, Sweden.

More than 1.4 million people visited the Louis Vuitton Foundation in 2017.
