Hamish Brayshaw (9 February 1998) is an Australian rules footballer and multiple Guinness World Record holder, currently playing for the East Perth Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL), who also played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League. Brayshaw was initially selected with the 68th pick in the 2017 AFL draft, before he was delisted at the conclusion of the 2019 AFL season and redrafted with pick 39 in the 2020 rookie draft. He is the son of former North Melbourne player Mark Brayshaw and brother of Andrew and Angus Brayshaw. [1] He played junior football with Hampton Rovers Football Club and for his school Haileybury College. Brayshaw was again delisted by the Eagles at the conclusion of the 2020 AFL season. [2] Afterwards he was signed as a WAFL-listed player at the West Coast Eagles and made captain of the club's WAFL team for the 2021 season. [3] In early 2024 Hamish, with the assistance of former West Coast Eagles teammate Will Schofield and the other guy (Dan Const) from the BackChat podcast, set about breaking obscure Guinness World Records.

Mark Andrew Brayshaw is a former Australian rules footballer who played for North Melbourne Football Club in the AFL. He is the brother of James Brayshaw and the son of Ian Brayshaw. His sons Angus, Andrew and Hamish are each on an AFL lists.
William John Schofield is an Australian rules footballer who formerly played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). At 196 centimetres tall and weighing 92 kilograms (203 lb), he is a versatile defender who has played key-position and half-back roles throughout his career. West Coast drafted him from the Geelong Falcons with pick 50 in the 2006 national draft, and debuted in round 17 of the 2007 AFL season. Schofield has played in two AFL Grand Finals: a loss in 2015 and a victory in 2018. He achieved life membership at West Coast in 2016 after playing 150 games for the club. He retired following the 2020 season.

Jonathon Griffin is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club and Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A ruckman from Western Australia, Griffin played for East Fremantle in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) before being drafted by Adelaide at the 2005 Rookie draft. Upgraded to the club's senior list for the 2007 season, he debuted the following season, and played 41 games for Adelaide before being traded to Fremantle during the 2010–11 trading period.

He was delisted at the end of the 2016 season, having played 93 games. He is now the current ground manager at Fermoy Estate and resides in sleepy Dunsborough.

The West Coast Eagles are an Australian rules football team based in Perth, Western Australia. Their 2021 season was their 35th season in the Australian Football League (AFL), their eighth season under premiership coach Adam Simpson, and their second season with Luke Shuey as captain. Having finished in the top eight every season since 2015, it was expected that West Coast would do the same in 2021. They won eight of their first thirteen matches, including an unexpected win against Port Adelaide, and a 97-point thrashing by Geelong, placing them seventh on the ladder before their midseason bye. They continued on to lose seven of their remaining nine matches, including a 92-point loss to Sydney, and their first Western Derby loss since 2015, causing them to finish ninth, missing finals.
