Hammersmith Head [1] is a rowing head held by Auriol Kensington Rowing Club on the River Thames. The race starts at Chiswick Bridge 51°28′23″N0°16′11″W / 51.47306°N 0.26972°W and finishes at Hammersmith Bridge 51°29′18″N0°13′49″W / 51.48833°N 0.23028°W (a course of approximately 2.750 mi (4.426 km)). It is held under Amateur Rowing Association Rules of Racing.

Umpired by Robert Lewis-Lloyd, Cambridge won the race by two-thirds of a length in a time of 22 minutes 30 seconds, becoming the first crew to come from behind at Barnes Bridge to win.
