Hana Storchová (born 14 September 1936) is a Czech painter and printmaker.

A native of Prague, [1] Storchová began studying drawing while in secondary school. [2] She graduated from that city's Academy of Fine Arts, at which she had studied drawing, in 1960. In addition to painting and printmaking, she has been active as an illustrator. [3] Four of her works, three prints and an illustrated book, are in the collection of the National Gallery of Art. <span class="mw-page-title-main">2013 Czech political corruption scandal</span>

The 2013 Czech political corruption scandal started with a raid against organized crime which was conducted in the Czech Republic in June 2013 by the Police Unit for Combating Organized Crime and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in Olomouc. It involved several highly positioned state officers and politicians, as well as controversial entrepreneurs and lobbyists. The scandal affected the top levels of Czech politics, including Prime Minister Petr Nečas and his coalition government. On 17 June 2013, it resulted in the resignation of the Prime Minister and the cabinet. Nečas also quit as leader of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS).

The 2013–14 Czech First League, known as the Gambrinus liga for sponsorship reasons, was the 21st season of the Czech Republic's top-tier football league. The season began on 19 July 2013 and ended on 31 May 2014. Sparta Prague won their 36th title on 4 May 2014, after defending champions Plzeň drew against Jablonec. They ended the season with a Czech league record of 79 points out of a possible 90, winning all of their home games, and losing only one away game and drawing a further four. Sigma Olomouc and Znojmo were relegated, the latter having played its top flight debut, and the former having played in every Czech first league season since its establishment in 1993.

The 2013–14 Czech National Football League was the 21st season of the second tier of the Czech football league, and the first full season since the league was officially renamed from the 2. fotbalová liga to the fotbalová národní liga. The season began on 26 July 2013 and finished on 4 June 2014, with a winter break between November and March.

Zdenka Kabátová-Táborská is a Czech painter, printmaker, and illustrator.

Janina Kraupe-Świderska was a Polish painter and printmaker. A native of Sosnowiec, Kraupe-Świderska was associated for much of her career with the avant-garde of Kraków, especially the group which had formed around the city's Kunstgewerbeschule during World War II; eventually she numbered Tadeusz Kantor, Tadeusz Brzozowski, Kazimierz Mikulski, and Jerzy Nowosielski among her acquaintances. From 1957 she belonged to the Grupa Krakowska. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Kraków, eventually returning to the institution as a lecturer and professor and remaining on the faculty until 1980. A 1997 print by Kraupe-Świderska is owned by the National Gallery of Art, and she is represented in the collection of the Olomouc Museum of Art.
