Mason County is a county in the U.S. state of West Virginia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 25,453. Its county seat and largest city is Point Pleasant. The county was founded in 1804 and named for George Mason, delegate to the U.S. Constitutional Convention. Before the Civil War, the county was in the State of Virginia.

River Valley High School is a public high school near Bidwell, in the U.S. state of Ohio. It is one of two high schools in the Gallia County Local School District, the other school being South Gallia High School. Their nickname is the Raiders. The school has been rated "Excellent" two years in a row on the state report card making it one of the highest ranked schools within several counties. In August 2009 the current RVHS facility was officially opened, taking the place of the previous RVHS located in nearby Cheshire. The new location places River Valley High School just a short distance from its main feeder school, River Valley Middle School. The 2009–10 school year was the first to take place in the new building, with the Class of 2010 being the first class to graduate, and the Class of 2013 being the first to complete all four years of their secondary education at the new building.
South Gallia High School is a public high school in Mercerville, Ohio United States. Because Mercerville does not have its own US Post Office, its mailing address is considered Crown City, despite being 7 miles north of Crown City. It is one of two high schools in the Gallia County Local School District, the other school being River Valley High School. The South Gallia nickname is the Rebels. South Gallia School colors are Red, Gold, and White. The school opened in 1996 after a de-consolidation. The building is located next to the site of the old Hannan Trace High School. South Gallia is a combination of two elementary schools known as Hannan Trace and Southwestern, although Southwestern is a split school between South Gallia and River Valley. South Gallia has around 250 students enrolled. South Gallia has also achieved some of the highest OGT scores in Ohio. South Gallia High School's current principal is Bray M. Shamblin. Previous principals include Tim Scarberry and Scot West.
Dunlap Community Unit School District 323 is a public school district in Peoria County, Illinois. It is based near Dunlap, Illinois and has one high school, two middle schools, and five elementary schools. Its territory consists of Radnor Township, northeastern Kickapoo Township, the western third of Medina Township, and parts of Akron, Hallock, and Richwoods Townships. The Jackson County School system is unique in the way that is still has a K–8 system with combined elementary and middle schools, with one central high school and one combined K–12 elementary/middle/high school. The county school system has eight schools, all with different histories and stories behind why they are the way they are today. The school system includes four kindergarten-through-8th-grade schools, two kindergarten-through-12th-grade schools, one traditional 9th-through-12th-grade high school, and one alternative 9th-through-12th-grade high school early college.
