Hans Teodor Deutgen (born 28 February 1917 in Stockholm, Sweden; died 3 October 1989) was a World Champion archer who represented Sweden.

Deutgen remains the most successful male archer of all time at the World Archery Championships, winning the championship on four consecutive occasions between 1947 and 1950, before the event became biennial. Upon being presented with his fourth gold in 1950, he passed it to third place Russ Reynolds, who was suffering from leukemia. Deutgen retired from competition in 1953. Lee Seung-yun is a South Korean archer. After winning medals at the World Youth Championships, he was first selected for the South Korean archery team in 2013, in which year he won team and individual medals at the 2013 Archery World Cup, finishing 4th in the World Cup Final in Paris, and reached the final of the 2013 World Archery Championships where he defeated teammate and Olympic champion Oh Jin-hyek. He reached a career high world ranking of 5 in 2013, and in 2016 he ranked 8th.

The United States competed at the 1950 World Archery Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark in from 26 to 30 July 1950 The United States entered a squad of 5 archers and competed in 3 events, the men's and women's individual events, and men's team events. The team one gold with Jean Lee in the women's individual. Russ Reynolds, who was suffering from leukemia won bronze in the men's individual was presented with the gold medal from the winner Hans Deutgen.

She won the silver medal in the women's individual event at the 2021 World Archery Championships held in Yankton, United States. She competed in the women's individual and women's team events at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.

Lisa Barbelin is a French archer, who won the recurve events at the 2021 European Archery Championships, and 2022 European Indoor Archery Championships. She has previously won multiple medals at the World Youth Archery Championships, and won bronze medals in events at the 2019 and 2022 Archery World Cups. In June 2021 she was the world's number one ranked competitor. Barbelin competed in the women's individual event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Sarah Prieels is a Belgian archer competing the women's compound events. She won the gold medal in the mixed team event at the 2021 European Archery Championships held in Antalya, Turkey.
