Hard to Be a Rock'n Roller is the reissue of Norwegian glam metal band Wig Wam's debut album 667.. The Neighbour of the Beast . It was released in Scandinavia on January 10, 2005, and featured a re-arranged tracklist and the addition of an instrumental track titled "The Drop" and a radio edit of "Hard to Be a Rock'n Roller".

After Wig Wam won the Melodi Grand Prix competition in march 2005 with the single "In My Dreams" and gained entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 held in Kyiv, the album was reissued to include the single for release in Europe and renamed Hard to Be a Rock'n Roller.. In Kiev! The band placed ninth at the Eurovision Song Contest with "In My Dreams" and following the band's performance, the album was reissued for releases in Scandinavia and Asia, titled Hard to Be a Rock'n Roller.. and Hard to Be a Rock'n Roller.. In Tokyo! respectively. The album and "In My Dreams" were both certified platinum in Norway, and marked an international breakthrough for the band. [1] [2]

Wig Wamania is the second studio album by Norwegian glam metal band Wig Wam. The album was released on 13 March, 2006, and produced by the band's guitarist Trond Holter. The album's first single "Gonna Get You Someday" was released on 7 February, 2006 and was also featured on the soundtrack for the Norwegian 2006 movie Lange Flate Ballær. Two bonus tracks were added for the Japanese version of the album, "After the Nine O'Clock News" and "Flying High", the latter being the first recording with bassist Bernt Jansen singing lead vocals.

Norway participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "In My Dreams" written by Trond "Teeny" Holter. The song was performed by the band Wig Wam. The Norwegian broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK) organised the national final Melodi Grand Prix 2005 in order to select the Norwegian entry for the 2005 contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. Eight entries competed in a show that took place on 5 March 2005 and the winner was determined over two rounds of public televoting. The top four entries in the first round of voting advanced to the competition's second round—the Gold Final. In the second round of public televoting, "In My Dreams" performed by Wig Wam was selected as the winner with 75,667 votes.

Night of the Crime is the second album by the heavy metal band Icon. It was far more polished than their self-titled debut and forayed into areas of glam only previously alluded to on their debut. It was produced and engineered by Eddie Kramer. Around 30 songs were demoed for the album, and Kramer´s version included one more finished track, "Hang Tough". Ron Nevison mixed the album and "Hang Tough" did not make it to the final release. The album has, like the debut, been remastered and re-released several times on CD.
