Harlowton Public Schools is a school district headquartered in Harlowton, Montana. It operates two schools: Hillcrest Elementary School and Harlowton High School.

History

In 1945 there were 414 students. [3]

In 1959 Thomas J. Corbett, previously the superintendent of the school district of Townsend, Montana, became the superintendent of Harlowton. [4]

Previously the district required families of students who did not live in the school district to pay tuition money to the district, but by 1975 the district no longer charged tuition. [5]

The Ramah Navajo Indian Reservation is a non-contiguous section of the Navajo Nation lying in parts of west-central Cibola and southern McKinley counties in New Mexico, United States, just east and southeast of the Zuni Indian Reservation. It has a land area of 230.675 sq mi (597.445 km²), over 95 percent of which is designated as off-reservation trust land. According to the 2000 census, the resident population is 2,167 persons. The Ramah Reservation's land area is less than one percent of the Navajo Nation's total area.

It is in the west-central part of the county, on the south side of U.S. Route 12, 9 miles (14 km) west of Harlowton, the county seat, and 3 miles (5 km) east of Twodot. The Musselshell River flows eastward through the colony.

The Musselshell River forms the southern edge of the CDP.

Springwater Colony is a Hutterite community and census-designated place (CDP) in Wheatland County, Montana, United States. It is in the east-central part of the county, 4 miles (6 km) northeast of Harlowton, the county seat.

Sims Public School District 8 was a school district in North Dakota. It operated one school, Almont School, in Almont. By 2005 the district sent high school students to New Salem schools. In the school's last year, 2007–2008, it was a K-8 school.

Ramah Middle/High School is a public secondary school in unincorporated McKinley County, New Mexico, near the Ramah census-designated place and with a Ramah postal address. It is a part of Gallup-McKinley County Schools.
