The hibachi is a traditional Japanese heating device. It is a brazier which is a round, cylindrical, or box-shaped, open-topped container, made from or lined with a heatproof material and designed to hold burning charcoal. It is believed hibachi date back to the Heian period. It is filled with incombustible ash, and charcoal sits in the center of the ash. To handle the charcoal, a pair of metal chopsticks called hibashi is used, in a way similar to Western fire irons or tongs. Hibachi were used for heating, not for cooking. It heats by radiation, and is too weak to warm a whole room. Sometimes, people placed a tetsubin over the hibachi to boil water for tea. Later, by the 1900s, some cooking was also done over the hibachi.

Pineapple Express is a 2008 American buddy stoner action comedy film directed by David Gordon Green, written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and starring Rogen and James Franco. The plot centers on a process server and his marijuana dealer as they are forced to flee from hitmen and a corrupt police officer after witnessing them commit a murder. Producer Judd Apatow, who previously worked with Rogen and Goldberg on Knocked Up and Superbad, assisted in developing the story.

Larry Barnes is an American former professional boxer who, on November 18, 1995, challenged Felix Trinidad for the Puerto Rican's International Boxing Federation's world Welterweight title. He lost that fight by a fourth-round knockout. Held at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the fight was broadcast live on HBO Boxing. On September 18, 1998, he was a challenger for a world title again, fighting Mexican Yory Boy Campas for Campas' IBF world Super Welterweight title, losing to Campas by third-round knockout. The Campas bout was in Las Vegas, Nevada.
