Harrow on the Hill is a locality and historic village in the borough of Harrow in Greater London, England. Independent boutiques and restaurants dot the affluent area, which is rich with historic architecture; offering a village atmosphere. The name refers to Harrow Hill, 408 feet (124 m). It is located some half a mile south from the modern town of Harrow. Harrow School is located in the area.

All articles are published anonymously, except for letters which are signed. The Harrovian is printed on cream paper and is usually 8 A4 sides long.

Bentley Wood High School is an all-girls secondary academy school in Stanmore, Harrow, England.

Harrow Chequers Football Club was a football club from London, England in the 1860s to early 1890s. It played as the Harrow Chequers from 1865 to 1876, when it was then renamed the Old Harrovians, and continued play until at least 1891. Derived from former pupils of Harrow School, the club was involved in the formation of the FA Cup in 1871. It was slated to play in three of the first six FA Cup competitions in the 1870s, but they forfeited each time, and never contested an FA Cup match as the Chequers. One of their players, however, Morton Betts, is remembered for scoring the first goal in the first ever FA Cup Final in 1872, which is essentially all that is remembered today of the club. However, as the Old Harrovians, the team had some more success, including reaching the semifinals of the 1877–78 FA Cup.

2018 Harrow London Borough Council election

The 2018 Harrow London Borough Council election took place on 3 May 2018 to elect members of Harrow London Borough Council in England. This was on the same day as other local elections in England. The Conservatives had hoped to win control of the council from Labour, but Labour emerged with an increased number of seats and kept their majority. The Liberal Democrats lost their only seat in the borough. The Conservatives lost seats to Labour, but maintained their total of 28 by winning two seats that had been held by independents.
