Harry Belden is an American actor. He has voiced Morty Smith and Evil Morty in the Adult Swim animated television series Rick and Morty since season 7.
Belden was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. [1] From a young age, he had a passion for comedy and performance, particularly acting. Belden attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 2017. [2]
Belden began his career in 2017, working on various projects in Chicago including theater, commercials, and voice over. [1] Belden's breakthrough came when he was cast as the voice of Morty Smith/Evil Morty in the popular animated television series Rick and Morty following the dismissal of Justin Roiland. Belden's portrayal of the characters began in the show's seventh season, which premiered on Adult Swim in October 2023. [3]
Since taking on the role, Belden has been praised for his excellent portrayal of Morty Smith. [4] In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Scott Marder discussed the search to recast: "[Harry Belden and Ian Cardoni] both came through rigorous casting calls. Ian was early on and Harry came after we exhausted every resource. We had multiple waves of narrowing people down. ...They just bought this show 30 more years. We just got these eager young guys who are so excited to attack every episode." [3]

Thomas Christopher Parnell is an American actor and comedian. First breaking through as a performer with the Los Angeles comedy troupe The Groundlings, Parnell found wider success during his tenure as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 1998 to 2006. After leaving SNL, he played the role of Dr. Leo Spaceman on the NBC sitcom 30 Rock (2006–2013). Parnell is also a prominent voice actor known for his deep and distinctive voice. In animation, he voices the narrator on the PBS Kids series WordGirl (2007–2015), Cyril Figgis on the FX series Archer (2009–2023), Jerry Smith on Adult Swim's Rick and Morty (2013–present), and Doug on Fox's Family Guy (2019–2022). His work also extends into commercials, having voiced the Hamburger Helper mascot “Lefty”, appeared in advertisements as “America’s Dad” for Orbit Gum, and is most known for voicing "The Progressive Box" in a series of advertisements by the Progressive Corporation.
Gary Anthony Williams is an American actor, comedian and filmmaker. He has voiced the characters of Uncle Ruckus on The Boondocks, General Horace Warfield in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and Dr. Richard Tygan in XCOM 2, portraying Anton "Bebop" Zeck in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Stoopid Buddy Stoodios is an American production company and animation studio, formed by Seth Green, Matthew Senreich, John Harvatine IV, and Eric Towner. It was established in 2011 following the partnership of Stoopid Monkey, which had been founded in 1999, and Buddy Systems Studios. Gerald "Jerry" Smith is one of the main characters of the American animated television series Rick and Morty and resulting franchise. The Vindicators is an American animated superhero comedy spin-off of the Rick and Morty franchise, owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, whose primary eponymous team consists of Vance Maximus, Supernova, Alan Rails, Crocubot, Million Ants, and Noob Noob, and were created by Sarah Carbiener and Erica Rosbe for the 2017 third season of Rick and Morty, premiering in "Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender".
