Harry Miller (born December 7, 1950) is a former college basketball player and coach. He played college ball at Texas Lutheran College (now Texas Lutheran University) in Seguin. He was head coach at Baylor from 1994 to 1999, serving first as interim coach after Darrel Johnson was fired. Prior to coming to Baylor as an assistant, Miller was a high school coach for 16 years at Temple High School and Seguin High School in Seguin Texas. [1]

Don Edward Baylor was an American professional baseball player and manager. During his 19 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), Baylor was a power hitter known for standing very close to home plate and was a first baseman, left fielder, and designated hitter. Art Briles American high school football coach

Arthur Ray Briles is an American football coach, formerly with Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, Texas. Briles was the head coach of the Houston Cougars from 2002 to 2007 and the Baylor Bears from 2008 to 2015. His college career ended with his dismissal from the team in 2015 as a result of the Baylor University sexual assault scandal. He is the author of Beating Goliath: My Story of Football and Faith (2014). He is the subject of a biography written by Nick Eatman entitled Looking Up: My Journey from Tragedy to Triumph (2013).

Grant Garland Teaff is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at McMurry University (1960–1965), Angelo State University (1969–1971), and Baylor University (1972–1992), compiling a career college football record of 170–151–8. In his 21 seasons as head coach of the Baylor Bears football team, Teaff's teams won two Southwest Conference titles and appeared in eight bowl games. His 128 wins are the most of any coach in the history of the program. Teaff was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2001.

Darrel Johnson is a former college basketball coach. He was head coach of the Baylor Bears team from 1992 to 1994. He was previously head coach at Oklahoma Baptist University from 1985 to 1990 and at Oklahoma City University from 1990 to 1992. After being fired in a scandal over violation of NCAA rules, he became a scout for the Charlotte Bobcats and basketball coach and director of athletics at The Woodlands Christian Academy. He later became a scout for the New Orleans Pelicans and is currently a scout for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Nelson D. Haggerty was an American basketball coach and college basketball player. He had been serving as an assistant coach for the North Texas Mean Green at the time of his death. He played for the Baylor Bears, staying four years; in 1994–95 he led the NCAA Division I in assists, averaging 10.1 per game. He is the all-time leader for career assists for Baylor with 699.

Patty Dowdell is a retired volleyball player who primarily was on the United States women's national volleyball team from 1974 to 1980. With the national team, Dowdell and the United States finished in seventh at the 1977 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup and fifth at the 1978 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. After playing at the 1979 Pan American Games, Dowdell was part of the American volleyball team that boycotted the 1980 Summer Olympics. She resumed playing on the national team in the early 1980s and did not play any games at the 1984 Summer Olympics. Outside of the national team, Dowdell played for the Dallas Belles and Chicago Breeze in the Major League Volleyball during the late 1980s.
