Harry R. Askins (November 21,1946) is an American politician.
Askins was the member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 61st District, [1] serving in the House from 1993. He retired in 2002. [2]
Askins is the grandson of William Thomas Askins,a prominent Florence County,South Carolina merchant and farmer. The W.T. Askins House has been preserved and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. [3]
