Harry R. Askins (November 21,1946) is an American politician.
Askins was the member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 61st District, [1] serving in the House from 1993. He retired in 2002. [2]

It was the home of William Thomas Askins (1859–1932),a prominent merchant and farmer of Lake City and lower Florence County.
