Haruka Abe is a Japanese actress based in London.
Born in Nerima, Tokyo, Abe grew up in Tokyo, London and New York. [1] She trained at Rose Bruford College in South East London. [2]
She appeared in BBC's Ideal as Miko, [3] and as Marti in Sleepydog's science-fiction TV series Slingers directed by Steve Barron. [4] She also appeared in the video for Clean Bandit's song "Rather Be" [5] [6] which has gained over 770 million views on YouTube as of August 2024. [7]
In 2018, she became the new speaking voice of Noodle from the virtual band Gorillaz. [8] [9]

Gorillaz are a British virtual band created in 1998 by British musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, from London. The band primarily consists of four fictional members: 2-D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russel Hobbs (drums). Their universe is presented in media such as music videos, interviews, comic strips and short cartoons. Gorillaz's music has featured collaborations with a wide range of featured artists, with Albarn as the only permanent musical contributor.

"Rather Be" is a song by English electronic music group Clean Bandit, featuring vocals by Jess Glynne. It was released on 17 January 2014 as the fourth single from the group's debut studio album, New Eyes (2014). It also appears on the deluxe version of Glynne's debut album, I Cry When I Laugh (2015). It was co-written by band members Jack Patterson and Grace Chatto, along with Jimmy Napes and Nicole Marshall, and produced by Patterson and Chatto. Cocotama is a Japanese anime television series animated by OLM, Inc. and a sequel and a spinoff to Kamisama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama, based on both the series of toys and Media Franchise created by Bandai Namco Holdings. The series was directed by Norio Nitta and written by Michihiro Tsuchiya with character designs by Shinobu Ookawa. The series aired on all TXN stations in Japan from September 6, 2018 to September 26, 2019, replacing Himitsu no Cocotama in its initial timeslot.
