Harvard Sailing Team is a New York City sketch comedy group featuring 5 women and 4 men. The team performs weekly in Manhattan and their popular YouTube videos have over 16 million views. Winners of the 2011 Nightlife award for Outstanding Comedy Group, I the Friar's Club Film Festival competition, Improvisation News 2011 INNY Award for Best in Sketch Comedy and the 2007 ECNY award for Best Sketch Comedy Group, they perform their hit live show every Friday night at The PIT. They have appeared live at Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, the Kennedy Center, Caroline's on Broadway, National College Comedy Festival, The PIT, Charleston's Piccolo Spoletto Festival, Chicago SketchFest, Toronto SketchFest, New York Comedy Festival's Best of Sketch Show, SketchFest NYC and at the UCB NY and UCB LA. They perform in argyle sweaters and Converse sneakers.

Harvard Sailing Team is Jen Curran, Clayton Early, Faryn Einhorn, Katie Larsen, Adam Lustick, Billy Scafuri, Chris Smith, Rebecca Delgado Smith and Sara Taylor. The sketch group is not affiliated in any way with Harvard University or its sailing program.

The group was founded by Chris Smith, a graduate of NYU, and Billy Scafuri, who graduated from Hofstra University, but both of whom are from Rockville Centre, New York. [3] Not one of them attended Harvard University, and none of them sail. [4] [5] They first performed in Merrick, New York. [3] Their second appearance at the Charleston Comedy Festival was named Best Return Engagement. [6]

Individually Harvard Sailing Team members can be seen on television, in feature films, award-winning short films, and national commercials.[ citation needed ] Although they're comedians, many in the troupe are also experienced dancers, choreographers, and singers. [7]

Theatre Strike Force is the University of Florida's premier improv and sketch comedy troupe. The group also goes by TSF. The style of improv performed by Theatre Strike Force is a combination long form and short form. They both teach and perform improvisational comedy. They have six house teams which include both forms of improv as well as a sketch team. There are four long form house teams which are cast every semester and usually have six to eight members. The TSF Short Form Team is cast every semester as well and usually has fifteen to nineteen members. TSF Sketch is the final house team and usually has twelve to sixteen members, cast each semester.

Drew McCreadie, born 1967, is a Vancouver, British Columbia-based actor, playwright and improvisor. He was the winner of Best Male Improvisor in Canada at the 2007 Canadian Comedy Awards. His play The Cat Who Ate Her Husband was first performed in Vancouver by Ruby Slipper Theatre Company, and won five Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards including for best new script and best play. The ECNY Awards were created by Derrick Gordon to honor rising stars in the New York Comedy world in various genres, including sketch, stand up, improv, musical comedy acts, and video. The awards ran from 2003 to 2011, with the exception of a hiatus in 2006. Nominees are selected by New York audiences and an Industry Committee, and the general public votes online to determine the winners, who are announced at an awards show gala each year.

Taz VanRassel is a Canadian Comedian and Actor primarily known for his work in Improv theatre. He was nominated as Best Male Improviser in Canada at The Canadian Comedy Awards from 2007 to 2015, is a founding member of The Sunday Service improv troupe, of Instant Theatre Company, 9-year member of the Vancouver TheatreSports League and is a member and co-creator of the sketch comedy group Titmouse! with Eisner Award-winning comic book writer/comedian Ian Boothby.

Ronald Pederson is a Canadian (Métis) actor, comedian and theatre director who has worked extensively throughout Canada and in the United States. He has performed with most of Canada's major theatres including The Stratford Festival, The Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, The Citadel Theatre, Alberta Theatre Projects, The Arts Club, The Vancouver Playhouse, The Young Centre, The Canadian Stage Company, The Tarragon Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille, Soulpepper and The SummerWorks Festival. McKenna was one of the stars of Fox's Party Over Here, alongside Nicole Byer and Alison Rich, and hosted the podcast Off Book: The Improvised Musical until 2023.

The Free Association, or The FA, is an improvised comedy theatre and school, based in London. It is currently the largest provider of improvisation training in the UK.
