Harvest Country Music Festival was a country music festival which took place for the first time on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27 August 2017, organised and promoted by Aiken Promotions.
Aiken Promotions announced the new festival in December 2016. [1] along with headline acts Miranda Lambert and Nathan Carter. Shortly after the announcement, additional camping facilities were added due to demand [2]
The event was held simultaneously at two locations, sharing the same line-up with artists performing at one location on Saturday and then swapping on Sunday. The locations were Westport House in Westport, County Mayo, Republic of Ireland, and St. Angelo Airport at Trory, just outside Enniskillen, in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. [3]
St. Angelo Airport predicted crowd numbers of 15,000 for the weekend and tickets were available on the day at both venues [4]
Miranda Lambert included Harvest Festival in the European leg of her Highway Vagabond Tour - the only dates in Ireland and Northern Ireland. [5]
Nathan Carter was the headliner for the other night of the festival.
Charlie Pride was added as a 'very special guest' in April 2017 [6]
The festival featured a range of Country Music artists from Ireland, the UK and America.
The Shires had been due to play however were forced to cancel at short notice due to illness. [7] [8] Logan Brill was moved up the running order to fill their time slot.

Enniskillen is the largest town in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is in the middle of the county, between the Upper and Lower sections of Lough Erne. It had a population of 14,083 at the 2021 Census. Enniskillen Castle was built in the 15th century as a stronghold of the Maguires, before coming under English control in the early 17th century. The castle and town were expanded during the Plantation of Ulster. It was the seat of local government for the former Fermanagh District Council, and is the county town of Fermanagh.
Earl of Enniskillen is a title in the Peerage of Ireland. It was created in 1789 for William Cole, 1st Viscount Enniskillen. He had already been created Viscount Enniskillen in the Peerage of Ireland in 1776 and had inherited the title Baron Mount Florence, of Florence Court in the County of Fermanagh, which had been created in the Peerage of Ireland in 1760 for his father John Cole, who had earlier represented Enniskillen in the Irish House of Commons. The family are descended from the Ulster planter, Sir William Cole.
Westport House in Westport, County Mayo, Ireland, is a country house, historically the family seat of the Marquess of Sligo and the Brownes and designed by notable eighteenth century architects Richard Cassels, Thomas Ivory and James Wyatt. The title and the house were separated in 2014, following the death of Jeremy Browne, 11th Marquess of Sligo, who left the estate to his five daughters. His titles passed to his first cousin, Sebastian Ulick Browne, a residential estate agent in Australia. The house was purchased by the Hughes Group in 2017.
Miranda Leigh Lambert is an American country singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Born in Longview, Texas, she started out in early 2001 when she released her self-titled debut album independently. In 2003, she finished in third place on the television program Nashville Star, a singing competition which aired on the USA Network. Outside her solo career, she is a member of the Pistol Annies formed in 2011 alongside Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley. Lambert has been honored by the Grammy Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards. Lambert has been honored with more Academy of Country Music Awards than any artist in history.
The Fermanagh Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the top Gaelic football clubs in Fermanagh. The winners of the Fermanagh Championship qualify to represent their county in the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship, the winners of which go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. Enniskillen Gaels are the 2022 champions.

Live at the Marquee is a season of music concerts and other live performance events organised by Aiken Promotions in a large marquee in Cork, Ireland, every summer since 2005. For about a month in June and July, a concert is held most evenings; tickets for each night are sold separately, with varying lineups and pricing. Acts have represented many genres of popular music, including rock, folk, electronic, hip hop, rhythm and blues, and country; as well as stand-up comedy acts.
John Farry is a Northern Irish singer/songwriter from Garrison, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. He played in Irish Country bands Toledo, Amarillo,Tennessee Sunshine as a vocalist and guitarist before launching a solo career and a songwriting career.
Historically he is best known for writing the Irish entry for the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest - a song entitled "Mysterious Woman" which achieved second place. He is currently one of Irelands most prolific songwriters
Alexander 'Sandy' John Burns Fulton (1942–2001) was the first person from County Fermanagh to play representative football for Northern Ireland.
C2C: Country to Country is a country music festival that has been held in Europe every year since 2013. It was first held in London on 16–17 March 2013. The festival was the first multi-day country music event in the United Kingdom, since the demise of the popular International Festival of Country Music, which was held at Wembley Arena and hosted by Mervyn Conn. The event was jointly developed by the O2 Arena and SJM Concerts, collaborating with the Country Music Association. In 2019 it had a capacity of 25,000.

He has released thirteen studio albums and six live albums as of December 2022, five of which peaked at number one, and four live DVDs. He performs Irish folk and country. He is considered the pioneer of Country and Irish music due to the massive popularity of his 2012 cover of the American country song "Wagon Wheel" which remains the most successful version of the song, becoming the biggest commercial success of any country release.
The Shires are a British country music duo composed of singer-songwriters Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes. Earle sings harmony vocals, plays piano and guitar, and Rhodes is lead singer. The duo formed in 2013 and released their debut album Brave in 2015, becoming the first UK country act to chart in the Top 10 of the UK Albums Chart. The group's second album, My Universe, became the fastest-selling UK country album in history when it was released in October 2016.
The Highway Vagabond Tour is the seventh concert tour by American country music artist Miranda Lambert, in support of her sixth studio album The Weight of These Wings (2016). It began on January 26, 2017, in Evansville, Indiana and concluded on October 21, 2017, in White Springs, Florida. A rehearsal show occurred on January 24, 2017, two days before the tour started, at Joe's Bar in Chicago.

Enniskillen Royal Grammar School, located in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, is an academically selective, co-educational, non-denominational voluntary grammar school. The school opened its doors on 1 September 2016. Two former Enniskillen grammar schools were amalgamated to form the school. It is located on two sites.
The Highwomen is an American country music supergroup composed of Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris, and Amanda Shires, formed in 2019. The group's self-titled debut album was released on September 6, 2019, by Elektra Records and was produced by Dave Cobb.
The Fermanagh county football team represents Fermanagh GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association, in the Gaelic sport of football. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Ulster Senior Football Championship and the National Football League.
