Hasan Tavanayan Fard (March 25, 1943 - January 21, 2015) [1] was an Iranian economist, author and poet.

He wrote more than 40 books in his lifetime in the field of economics, history and literature and wrote many articles. [2]

Education

He completed his Economics degree at Tehran University. He studied Masters in Economics at Swansea University in 1972 and wrote a thesis titled 'U.K. private short term capital movements (1963-1972)' . [3]

Work

He held several teaching posts such as at the University of Sanate Sharif, Tehran University and Payame Noor University. [4]

In 1986, he established his own publishing company called Far Nashr Publishing, printing books about Chemistry, English, Business Correspondence and Children’s IQ Test.

Musa al-Musawi (1930-1997) was a Muslim scholar and professor of philosophy, he wrote books on philosophy and revisionist texts on Shia Islam. His grandfather was Grand Ayatullah Abu al-Hasan al-Esfahani whom he lived with for 17 years after the assassination of his father. He was educated at Najaf traditional religious school and was awarded the highest certificate in Islamic Law (Ijtihad) from its university. He was also the 20th Majles deputy for Lanjan (1961).

Ali Abbaspoor Tehrani Fard is an Iranian academic and conservative politician. He is a professor of electrical engineering at Sharif University of Technology and served as the president of the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran from 2012 to 2017.

Shaykh Hasan al-Attar was a Sunni Shafi'i scholar, Grand Imam of al-Azhar from 1830 to 1835. A "polymathic figure", he wrote on grammar, science, logic, medicine and history. Hassan al-Attar was appointed Sheikh of al-Azhar in 1830 and became one of the earliest reformist clerics in Ottoman Egypt. He was a forerunner of Egypt's national revival, and his legacy was a generation of Egyptian modernists like his disciple Rifa al-Tahtawi. Hasan Irlu was an Iranian diplomat. He served as the Iranian ambassador to Houthi-controlled Yemen from 2020 to 2021. He was a former member of the IRGC's Quds Force, who became the head of its Yemen operations in Iran at the request of Qassem Soleimani.
