Haven Jesse Barlow (January 4, 1922 – February 6, 2022) was an American politician who was a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives from 1952 to 1955 and Utah State Senate from 1955 to 1994. [1] An alumnus of Utah State University and the Harvard Business School, and veteran of World War II where he served in the United States Navy, [2] he was also the president and founder of Barlow Realty and Insurance. He was also a director of the Utah Symphony. Barlow served as president of the Utah Senate from 1967 to 1972. [3] [4] [5]
Barlow turned 100 in January 2022, [6] and died one month later on February 6, 2022. [7]
Edwin Jacob "Jake" Garn is an American politician from Utah. A member of the Republican Party, he served as a member of the United States Senate from 1974 to 1993. Garn became the first sitting member of the United States Congress of either chamber to fly in space when he flew aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery as a payload specialist during NASA mission STS-51-D. Prior to his time in Congress, he served as the mayor of Salt Lake City.
Howard Walter Cannon was an American politician from Nevada. Elected to the first of four consecutive terms in 1958, he served in the United States Senate from 1959 to 1983. He was a member of the Democratic Party.

A member of the Republican Party, he served as the ambassador of the United States to Russia from 2017 to 2019, ambassador to China from 2009 to 2011, and ambassador to Singapore from 1992 to 1993.
Lawrence Joseph "Larry" DeNardis was an American politician who served as a U.S. Congressman for the state of Connecticut. He was also president of the University of New Haven.

A member of the Democratic Party, Kerttula was the longest-serving member of the Alaska Legislature, having served in the House from 1961 to 1963 and 1965 to 1973 and in the Senate from 1973 to 1995., until his record was surpassed by Lyman Hoffman in 2019.
Obie Patterson is an American politician. He was previously a Democratic member of the Maryland Senate from the 26th district in Prince George's County. He served on the Prince George's County Council representing District 8, and in the Maryland House of Delegates representing the 26th district.
Matthew L. Lesser is an American politician who represents the 9th district in the Connecticut State Senate. A member of the Democratic Party, he was first elected to the State House in 2008, and re-elected in 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016. He won election to the state Senate from the 9th district in 2018, and was reelected in 2020 and 2022. Lesser unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination for Connecticut Secretary of the State in 2022.

Spencer James Cox is an American lawyer and politician serving as the 18th governor of Utah since 2021. A member of the Republican Party, he served as the eighth lieutenant governor of Utah from 2013 to 2021. In Fairview, Utah, where Cox lives and was raised, he was elected to the city council in 2004 and then as mayor in 2005. In 2008, he was elected as a Sanpete County commissioner.
Ralph Ole Okerlund was an American politician and a Republican member of the Utah State Senate that represented District 24 from 2009 to 2020. He was the Senate's majority leader from January 28, 2013, to 2020.

Incumbent senator Mike Lee, who was first elected in 2010, won re-election to a third term, defeating Evan McMullin, an independent candidate who was endorsed by the Utah Democratic Party.
