Other versions

Golden Archer

At one point, the Golden Archer used the codename of Hawkeye. [10]

Marvel 2099

There have been two versions of Hawkeye in Marvel 2099:

Max

An alternate universe variant of Hawkeye from the Battleworld domain of 2099 appears in the "Secret Wars" storyline. This version is Max, an archer who was spliced with hawk DNA and gained the wings and talons of a hawk. [11]

An unidentified 2099 reality version of Hawkeye fought the Anti-Vigilante Act alongside his fellow vigilantes. Like the Battleworld version, he has the wings of a hawk. [12]

An unidentified 2099 reality version of Hawkeye is briefly displaced on Earth, where he helped the displaced Spider-Man 2099 fight the Fist. Unlike the other two Hawkeyes of 2099, this version is a human. [13]

Unnamed assassin

On the unified Marvel 2099 reality of Earth-2099, an unnamed person operated as an assassin named Hawkeye. [14]

Onslaught Reborn

An alternate universe variant of Hawkeye, amalgamated with Wolverine, appears in the series Onslaught Reborn . This version originates from a pocket dimension created by Franklin Richards. [15]

Ultimate Universe

An alternate universe variant of Hawkeye from Earth-6160 appears in the Ultimate Universe imprint. This version is Charli Ramsey, a Native American who obtained Clint Barton's Hawkeye equipment after Barton discarded it and leads a one-man crusade against Roxxon. Initially a solo hero, Ramsey later joins the Ultimates. [16] [17] [18]

Hawkeyes attacks Ulysses Klaue, only to be hit with a dart by two masked men, causing him to collapse. Chained up in a prison, a voice tells Hawkeye that he has become predictable and he will be on trial for his actions as he is left with either a hammer or a ruler. After going through a series of trials, Hawkeye encounters Exterminatrix, an associate of Roxxon. Exterminatrix unleashes Ronin (who owes Roxxon money) on Hawkeye, intending for them to fight. The loser will be killed and anyone they are related to will be killed as well if they refuse to fight. Hawkeye struggles to fight Ronin, who plans to take the Hawkeye mantle from him. Hawkeye manages to defeat Ronin, who is revealed to be Clint Barton. Exterminatrix demands that Hawkeye finishes Ronin off or she will do it for him. Hawkeye refuses to kill Ronin, with Exterminatrix doing so instead by transforming Ronin into gold. Hawkeye awakens on the street and finds a letter from Exterminatrix stating that his family has been spared, but will be killed if he comes after Exterminatrix and Roxxon again. Exterminatrix also states that the Ronin mantle has been left empty following Barton's death and that Hawkeye can take the mantle if he desires. [19]
