Haziq Zikri (born 5 April 1991 in Kuala Lumpur) is a Malaysian footballer.
He recently played for Harimau Muda A in the Malaysia Super League. [1]
Haziq is Malaysian-born but raised in the United Kingdom. He was noticed by the Football Association of Malaysia in November 2008, and recruited to join the Football Association of Malaysia. The association gave Haziq a contract to play for the newly created, Harimau Muda that was set to join the 2009 Premier League season. [2]
Haziq was officially part of the Harimau Muda squad in 2009. Haziq later joined the Malaysia national under-19 team for the 2010 AFC U-19 Championship qualification. Harimau Muda later won the 2009 Premier League Malaysia.
After Harimau Muda was split into two teams and Haziq was chosen to play for the Harimau Muda A team. He left Harimau Muda A in July 2011 to join the former champions, Selangor FA alongside 3 others Harimau Muda players. Haziq will join Selangor on a loan for the Malaysia Cup. [1]
Currently he is in United Kingdom to further his studies at the Hartpury College. [3]
Harimau Muda A was the club name for the former Malaysia Under-22 National Football Team, representing Malaysia in international football competitions such as the AFC U-22 Asian Cup, Champions Youth Cup as well as other under-22 international football tournaments. It was managed by Football Association of Malaysia. The squad was the feeder team for Malaysia U-23 and senior national football team. In 2015, Harimau Muda once again became a single team composed of former Harimau Muda A & B players. On 25 November 2015, it was confirmed that the club was disbanded by FAM which meant that all the players were returned to their own state sides.
Harimau Muda B was the club name for the former Malaysia Under-21 National Football Team and was managed by the Football Association of Malaysia. The national team played as a club under the name Harimau Muda B which took part in Malaysia Premier League from the 2007–08 season and also FA Cup Malaysia. In 2015, Harimau Muda once again became a single team composed of former Harimau Muda A & B players.

Harimau Muda is a former Malaysia national under-22 football team. The squad is the feeder team for senior national football team. The club is managed by the Football Association of Malaysia. After winning the Premier League in 2009, the club were split into two teams, Harimau Muda A and Harimau Muda B due to schedule conflicts between league and international matches. Harimau Muda was reinstated in 2015 by combining Harimau Muda A and B back into a single U-22 team with the exception of Harimau Muda C which still plays in FAM League. On 25 November 2015, it was confirmed that the Harimau Muda has disbanded by FAM which means all the player from Harimau Muda A, Harimau Muda B and Harimau Muda C will be returned to their own state.
