AC/DC are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Although their music has been variously described as hard rock, blues rock, and heavy metal, the band themselves call it simply "rock and roll".
Highway to Hell is the sixth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC, released on 27 July 1979. It was the band's fifth studio album released internationally and the sixth to be released in Australia. It was the last album featuring lead singer Bon Scott, who died early the following year on 19 February 1980.

He stated in an interview that he "had a pretty good run" in AC/DC and implied that he might not be returning. On September 30, 2020, AC/DC officially confirmed that Johnson along with fellow band mates Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams returned to record the band's 2020 album, Power Up in August 2018.
Flick of the Switch is a 1983 studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It is the band's eighth internationally released studio album, and the ninth to be released in their native Australia. The album was deemed a commercial disappointment after it failed to match the sales figures of the band's two previous releases, 1980's Back in Black and 1981's For Those About to Rock, and its release represented the beginning of the band's commercial decline. Despite this, opinions of Flick of the Switch have been quite positive in the years since its release, and the album has often been mentioned as one of the best releases of 1983. The third AC/DC album to feature lead vocalist Brian Johnson, the album is also the last to feature drummer Phil Rudd before his return on Ballbreaker (1995). The album was re-released in 2003 as part of the AC/DC Remasters series.
Let There Be Rock is the fourth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It was the band's third studio album released internationally and the fourth to be released in Australia. It was also the last AC/DC album to feature Mark Evans on bass. It was originally released on 21 March 1977 in Australia on the Albert Productions label. A modified international edition was released on 25 July 1977 on Atlantic Records.
Phillip Hugh Norman Rudd is an Australian drummer, best known as the drummer of AC/DC. Upon the 1977 departure of bass guitarist Mark Evans from AC/DC, Rudd became the only Australian-born member of the band. In 2003, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the other members of AC/DC. In 2014, Rudd released his first solo album, Head Job. Due to ongoing legal problems in New Zealand, where he is resident, Rudd was unable to join the band for the 2015 Rock or Bust World Tour and was replaced by Chris Slade. On 30 September 2020, AC/DC confirmed that Rudd would be rejoining the band for their comeback album Power Up.
Clifford Williams is an English musician and singer, best known as the bassist and backing vocalist of the Australian hard rock band AC/DC. He started his professional music career in 1967 and had previously been in the English groups Home and Bandit. His first studio album with AC/DC was Powerage in 1978. Williams was inducted into the American Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of AC/DC in 2003. Williams announced his retirement from AC/DC in 2016, but returned for their 2020 comeback album Power Up along with band mates Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd. His side projects include benefit concerts.
Chris Slade is a Welsh musician, best known for playing for the Australian hard rock band AC/DC. He drummed for the band from 1989 to 1994, performing on their 1990 album The Razors Edge along with their first live album with singer Brian Johnson, AC/DC Live. He returned to the band in February 2015 to replace Phil Rudd for the "Rock or Bust World Tour". Slade has also played with Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Tom Jones, Toomorrow, The Firm, and Asia.

Bob Richards is a Welsh-born drummer, best known for his tenures in the bands Man and Asia. In the early 1990s, Richards played in Adrian Smith's solo band during his time out of Iron Maiden. Richards would later have Smith record a guitar solo on his current cover band's début album. Richards remains endorsed by Paiste cymbals and Agner drum sticks from his time with Smith. From 1997-2008 he played with Man and appeared on five albums; Endangered Species, Down Town Live, Undrugged, Diamonds and Coal and Kingdom of Noise. In 2014, Richards worked with AC/DC. He filled in for long-term drummer Phil Rudd during his trial and featured in several music videos. Richards currently tours and records with Welsh rock band, Buck & Evans. Guitarist Chris Buck, from Caerphilly, has collaborated with Slash, joining him on stage as well as being picked up by former Guns N' Roses manager Alan Niven. Richards also plays in "Son of Man", with guitarist George Jones, Richie Galloni (vocals), Marco James (keyboards) and Ray Jones (bass) from Welsh band Sassafras and Glenn Quinn (guitar) from Tigertailz. Richards has also worked with Dave Edmunds, Andy Fairweather Low, Paul Chapman (UFO), Mikel Japp, Tony Mills (TNT), Carl Sentence and played on the title track of the MGM film, Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London.
