Pleioplectron is a genus of cave wētā in the family Rhaphidophoridae, endemic to New Zealand. These wētā are fairly common at night among the leaf litter in native forest in the South Island of New Zealand. Lindeman Lake, also known as Lake Lindeman, is a lake on the Chilkoot Trail in far northwestern British Columbia, Canada. It is just south of Bennett Lake and northeast of the summit of the Chilkoot Pass. From the direction of the pass it is fed by Lindeman Creek, which connects the two lakes. Lake Lindeman and Lake Bennett were key components of the Chilkoot Trail during the Klondike Gold Rush, with both seeing hundreds of vessels built to transit their waters and camp-town "tent cities" established on their shores. Lindeman was located at the south end of Lindeman Lake, while Bennett, often known as Bennett City, was at the south end of Lake Bennett.

The park is divided in two sections on Roy Lake, and is open for year-round recreation including camping, beaches, swimming, fishing, hiking and boating. Miss World America 1993 was the 5th edition of the Miss World America pageant and it was held in the Abraham Chavez Theatre in El Paso, Texas and was won by Maribeth Brown of Massachusetts. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Sharon Belden of Florida. Brown went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1993 Pageant in South Africa later that year. She finished in the Top 10 at Miss World. This pageant was held simultaneously with the Miss Mundo México 1993 pageant.
Jamie R. Smith is an American politician and a former member of the South Dakota House of Representatives. Smith represented District 15, which covers downtown neighborhoods, including areas around Terrace Park and the Great Plains Zoo, in Sioux Falls. He served as House Minority Leader 2019 to 2023.
