Heidi Hollinger (born 1968) is a political photographer, documentary presenter and politician.

Life and work

Hollinger was born in Montreal, Quebec and attended McGill University. [1]

After opening a photo studio in Moscow, she photographed over 100 political conventions in Russia, and traveled extensively to photograph other world leaders, including Vladimir Putin, Mikhail Gorbachev, Jean Chrétien, Fidel Castro, and the Dalai Lama.

After living for ten years in Moscow she returned to Montreal. For four years starting January 2011, she was a presenter of documentary series Waterfront Cities of The World for Discovery Channel. Each of 39 episodes of this series described one of the port cities in different parts of the world. [1] [2] [3]

On May 14, 2021, it was announced that Hollinger would join Ensemble Montréal as a city councilor candidate in the Saint-Henri-Est-Petite-Bourgogne-Pointe-Saint-Charles-Griffintown electoral district for the 2021 Montreal municipal election. [6]

S'il suffisait d'aimer is the sixteenth studio album by Canadian singer Celine Dion, and her eleventh French-language album. It was released by Sony Music on 31 August 1998. The album was mainly written by French singer-songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman, and produced by Goldman and Erick Benzi. It garnered favorable reviews from music critics and became the second best-selling French-language album of all time, after Dion's own D'eux (1995). Emmanuil Lipkind (1928–2007) was a Russian-Israeli painter. He was born in Kazan, Russia and lived in Moscow beginning in 1964. In 1994, he moved with his wife to Israel. Many of his works are kept in Russian museums, in the Yad va Shem Memorial in Israel as well as in private collections.
