Daphne Muriël Deckers is a Dutch television presenter, writer and occasional actress. In 1989 she started her career at RTL-Véronique, where she eventually became the host of Holland's Next Top Model, which she took over after the second season from Yfke Sturm.

Maria Aaltje ("Marianne") Timmer is a Dutch former speed skater specializing in the middle distances. At the 1998 Winter Olympics Timmer won a gold medal in both these events.

His television program Peter R. de Vries, misdaadverslaggever covered high-profile cases and set a Dutch television viewing record. For decades he was famous in the Netherlands for his works in unsolved crimes. He also became internationally renowned for his programme covering the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. In 2005, he founded his own political party which was disbanded soon after.
Black Book is a 2006 war drama thriller film co-written and directed by Paul Verhoeven, and starring Carice van Houten, Sebastian Koch, Thom Hoffman and Halina Reijn. The film, credited as based on several true events and characters, is about a young Jewish woman in the Netherlands who becomes a spy for the resistance during World War II after tragedy befalls her in an encounter with the Nazis. The film had its world premiere on 1 September 2006 at the Venice Film Festival and its public release on 14 September 2006 in the Netherlands. It is the first film that Verhoeven made in his native Netherlands since The Fourth Man, made in 1983 before he moved to the United States.

Hans Münstermann is a Dutch novelist, writer of almost a dozen novels. About half of them form a generational novel sequence that follows the life of a baby boomer named Andreas Klein, the son of a Dutch mother and a German man. His 2006 novel, De Bekoring, the fifth in that series, won the AKO Literatuurprijs in 2006; the sixth, Ik kom je halen als het zomer is, was published in 2010. Münstermann has a doctorate in theatrical studies and has worked at an academy in Maastricht since the 1980s, and from 1990 to 1995 he was a coordinator in actor training. He has also written a number of novels together with Jacques Hendrikx, under the pseudonym Jan Tetteroo.
