Helena Brodin (born 11 June 1936) is a Swedish actress. [1] She appeared in more than 40 films and television shows between 1960 and 2000.

Hugo and Josephine is a Swedish film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 16 December 1967, written and directed by Kjell Grede. The film is loosely based on three novels by Maria Gripe, and it stars Fredrik Becklén and Marie Öhman in the lead roles, with Beppe Wolgers, Helena Brodin and Inga Landgré in supporting roles. The film won the Guldbagge Award for Best Film at the 5th Guldbagge Awards.

I Am Maria is a 1979 Swedish drama film directed by Karsten Wedel. Peter Lindgren won the award for Best Actor at the 16th Guldbagge Awards.

Helena Kristina Bergström is a Swedish actress and film director. From an acting family, she began her career in 1982. She has appeared on the stages of the Royal Dramatic Theatre (Dramaten) and the Stockholm City Theatre, but is best known for her work in films. The Women on the Roof is considered a breakout role for her. Her most awarded film is The Last Dance, for which she received the Guldbagge Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role and Festival Awards in Montreal and Istanbul. Her husband, Colin Nutley, has directed her in several movies. In 2007, she directed for the first time for the film Mind the Gap. She is also a screenwriter and a singer.

Skärgårdsdoktorn is a Swedish television series produced by SVT Drama. The series ran from 1997 to 2000 and a total of 18 episodes were produced. In English, the title could be translated as The archipelago doctor, and it came to be one of the most popular Swedish TV series of the 1990s, and with its average viewership of approximately 2.5 million it is considered one of the greatest successes of SVT Drama. Created by Lars Bill Lundholm and Gunilla Linn Persson, the first 8 episodes were directed by Martin Asphaug. The series was also broadcast in Norway, Finland and Denmark.
