Buskerud is a county and a current electoral district in Norway, bordering Akershus, Oslo, Innlandet, Vestland, Telemark and Vestfold. The region extends from the Oslofjord and Drammensfjorden in the southeast to Hardangervidda mountain range in the northwest. The county administration was in modern times located in Drammen. Buskerud was merged with Akershus and Østfold into the newly created Viken County on 1 January 2020. On 23 February 2022, the Viken County Council voted in a 49 against 38 decision to submit an application to the Norwegian government for a county demerger. Due to this, Buskerud was re-established in 2024.

Ålgård is the administrative centre of Gjesdal municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located along the European route E39 highway, about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) southeast of the city of Sandnes in the Jæren district of the county. The village includes the neighborhoods of Ålgård, Bærland, Fiskebekk, Opstad and Solås. The large lake Edlandsvatnet lies on the south side of the village, emptying into the river Figgjoelva which runs northwest to Sandnes.

Tisleifjorden is a lake on the border of Innlandet and Buskerud counties in Norway. The lake lies in Nord-Aurdal municipality in Innlandet county, as well in Gol and Hemsedal municipalities in Buskerud county. Tisleifjorden is dammed for hydroelectric power. The height of the lake sits around 819 metres (2,687 ft) above sea level, but it can vary up to 11 metres (36 ft). The 13.54-square-kilometre (5.23 sq mi) lake has a circumference of about 32.5 kilometres (20.2 mi). It is located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) to the southwest of the town of Fagernes.

Urdevassfjell is a mountain located in Ringerike in Buskerud, Norway. The mountain is part of the Ådalsfjella range. It is situated west of the north end of Høgfjell in Ådal and east of Eidvatnet in the village of Strømsoddbygda.
Ulla-Førre is a hydropower complex in Southern Norway. It is situated along the borders of the municipalities of Suldal and Hjelmeland and Bykle, Norway. It has an installed capacity of approximately 2,100 megawatts (2,800,000 hp), and the annual average production is 4.45 TWh (16.0 PJ) (1987–2006), while its reservoir capacity is about 7.8 TWh (28 PJ); at full production, it can last seven to eight months. The complex includes the artificial lake Blåsjø, which is made by dams around 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) above the sea level. The hydroelectric power stations in the complex are Saurdal, Kvilldal, Hylen and Stølsdal, operated by Statkraft.
Per Roger Lauritzen is Norwegian non-fiction writer. He hails from Asker. He has worked as an editor for the Norwegian Trekking Association for more than thirty years, and has published more than fifty books. He was awarded Den norske friluftslivprisen in 2007, jointly with Leif Ryvarden.
Åna-Sira is a village in southwestern Norway, sitting mostly in Sokndal municipality in Rogaland county, but a small portion lies in Flekkefjord municipality in Agder county. The village is located at the mouth of the river Sira where it flows south into Åna fjord. The fjord and river form the county border with Rogaland and Agder counties. The Åna-Sira Bridge crosses the river connecting the two parts of the village. The village is the southernmost village in Rogaland county.
