Hengyang Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Hengyang, China that is under construction. It will be used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 35,000 spectators. [1] It was due to open in 2012 and broke ground in 2009. [2]

The Battle of Hengyang 23 June – 8 August, 1944 was fought between Chinese and Japanese forces in mainland China during World War II. Although the city fell, Japanese casualties far exceeded the total number of Chinese troops defending the city. It has been described as "the most savage battle ever fought in the smallest battlefield with the greatest casualties in the military history of the world." Japanese military historians equate it to the most arduous battle in the Russo-Japanese War, calling it a "Battle of Ryojun in South China." A Chinese major newspaper of the day compared it to the Battle of Stalingrad.
Xixiangtang District is one of 7 districts of the prefecture-level city of Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, South China. The district was approved to establish by merging the former two districts of Yongxin and Chengbei (城北区) by the Chinese State Council on September 15, 2004.

Shaodong County covers 1,768 km2 (683 sq mi), as of 2015, it had a registered population of 1,335,900 and a permanent resident population of 928,000. The county has three subdistricts, 18 towns and four townships under its jurisdiction, the county seat is Dahetang Subdistrict (大禾塘街道).

Hengyang East railway station is a railway station located in Zhuhui District, Hengyang, Hunan Province, China. It is on the Huaihua-Shaoyang-Hengyang railway, the Hengyang-Liuzhou intercity railway, and the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway, a segment of the Beijing–Guangzhou high-speed railway.
Hengyang Bajialing Airport is a former military and civil airport in the city of Hengyang in Hunan Province, China. It is located in Zhuhui District east of the Xiang River. Bajialing Airport has not served commercial flights since 1995, and the new Hengyang Nanyue Airport was opened in December 2014 to serve as Hengyang's civil airport.
The Hunan–Guangxi railway or Xianggui railway, is a mostly electrified railroad in southern China that connects Hunan province and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The shortform name of the line, Xianggui, is named after the Chinese short names of Hunan, Xiang and Guangxi, Gui. The line runs 1,013 km (629 mi) from Hengyang in Hunan to Friendship Pass on Guangxi's border with Vietnam. Major cities along route include Hengyang, Yongzhou, Guilin, Liuzhou, Nanning, Pingxiang, and Friendship Pass.
The Yiyang–Zhanjiang railway or Yizhan railway, is a railway in China between Hunan, Guangxi and Guangdong. The line was built at the beginning of the 21st century as the southern part of a rail corridor called the Luozhan railway running from Luoyang to Zhanjiang. The Yiyang–Zhanjiang railway runs for 951 km (591 mi). There are also branches to Santangpu and Shuangqing) between Yiyang and Maoming East. The part of the line between Loudi and Shaoyang is electrified and has two tracks.
Hengyang–Liuzhou intercity railway is a high-speed railway in South-Western China, connecting Hunan and Guangxi provinces. It provides a high-speed connection with the Beijing–Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong High-Speed Railway and links with the Guangxi capital of Nanning via the Liuzhou–Nanning intercity railway. It gives a direct high-speed services from Beijing to Guilin in only 10 hours.
