Henrik Carlsen (born 30 November 1959) is a Danish composer, record producer, singer, and keyboardist.
Carlsen was born in Copenhagen, Frederiksberg and grew up in Brøndby. He was a founding member of Street Beat in 1982 and led it until it was disbanded in 1993. [1]
As a composer, he has written or co-written pop-songs like "Ring A Ling" (Tiggy), "Diddley-Dee" (Cartoons), "Easy Come Easy Go" (Los Umbrellos), and worked as producer or re-mixer with Barcode Brothers, E-Type, Blå Øjne and many more. [2]
He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2001. [3] He retired from the music business and worked as a school teacher until 2016.
In 2016, he returned to music and released his first solo album "Street Beat Revisited". The album was a homage to his former band Street Beat, and he played all instruments himself recording the entire album in his own bedroom. He is permanently in a wheelchair and has lost all walking ability.
In November 2019, Carlsen released the instrumental album "WXYZ", again composing, arranging, performing, and producing all music by himself in his home studio.
Another instrumental jazz-rock fusion album was released in November 2022. This was a follow-up and named "WXYZ II". It consisted of 11 tracks, one them being a classical serenade For Linda played on a sampled Stradivarius violin.

Lars Ulrich is the first Danish musician to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Teitur Lassen is a Faroese musician, composer, singer-songwriter and producer. He is a winner of multiple Danish Music Awards and has toured globally since his debut release, Poetry & Aeroplanes, in 2003.
Tommy Seebach, born Tommy Seebach Mortensen in Copenhagen, Denmark, was a popular Danish singer, composer, organist, pianist and producer. He is best known as front man of Sir Henry and his Butlers and for numerous contributions to the Danish qualifier for the Eurovision Song Contest, the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, which he won three times. He was the father of songwriter/producer Nicolai Seebach and singer/songwriter/producer Rasmus Seebach.

Frederik Reesen Magle is a Danish composer, concert organist, and pianist. He writes contemporary classical music as well as fusion of classical music and other genres. His compositions include orchestral works, cantatas, chamber music, and solo works, including several compositions commissioned by the Danish royal family. Magle has gained a reputation as an organ virtuoso, and as a composer and performing artist who does not refrain from venturing into more experimental projects – often with improvisation – bordering jazz, electronica, and other non-classical genres.
Dizzy Mizz Lizzy is an alternative rock band from Copenhagen formed in October 1988 in Valby. The power trio consists of Tim Christensen, Martin Nielsen and Søren Friis (drums). Dizzy Mizz Lizzy have stated that they are influenced by The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Nirvana, but are not very fond of the designation grunge, which Dizzy perceived as an overused buzzword in 1994. Between 1994 and 1997, they were highly successful in Denmark and Japan and are credited for heading the 1990s rock revival in Denmark with their studio albums Dizzy Mizz Lizzy (1994) and Rotator (1996). After the group disbanded in 1998, Christensen started a successful solo career.

Aura is a concept album by Miles Davis, produced by Danish composer/trumpeter Palle Mikkelborg, released in 1989. All compositions and arrangements are by Mikkelborg, who created the suite in tribute when Davis received the Léonie Sonning Music Prize in December 1984, the year Decoy was released. Secrets on Parade is the debut solo album by Danish singer-songwriter Tim Christensen, released on 5 October 2000 on CD and vinyl. It is considered the transitional work between the music he made with Dizzy Mizz Lizzy and his solo music. Before its release, Christensen described the album as: "a rock album with material that is more timeless rather than time-typical [as was the case with Dizzy Mizz Lizzy] with room for solid rock, a glittery edge, and some ballads." The vinyl edition of the album was re-released through the record label Parlophone on April 19, 2014.

Povl Dissing was a Danish singer, composer, guitarist, and harmonica player. He made his album debut with En aften i folkeklubben in 1965. His public breakthrough came in 1973 with the album Svantes viser, a collaboration with poet Benny Andersen, whom he has cooperated closely with since. In 2006, Svantes viser was selected for the Danish Culture Canon.
